At this time, I have been contacted directly by Tartina regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Tartina, via *** *** *** ***, is still processing the complaintI had asked to be reimbursed for the gratuity, erroneously applied
automatically, and I was reimbursed promptlyI also received the very sincere apologies of Tartina, via *** *** I thought that the question had been resolvedUnfortunately, I was later charged $in international transfer fees because the refund was (necessarily) to my French bankI informed *** *** of these fees and, once again, she answered promptly and most courteously, assuring me thatshe would investigate the matterAs I told *** ***, I believethat these fees were due to an unfortunate error on the part of the person who prepared the refund/transfer and that no ill will is involved(When making an international transfer, one must indicate who is to pay the transfer fees and in what currency the transfer is to be madeI believe that the person who ordered the transfer simply checked the wrong box.) Tartina has always replied courteously and promptly and I fully believe that this issue will soon be fully resolvedMy impression of Tartina as a New York business is, at the point, very positiveAs for the waiter who improperly applied an automatic gratuity, ** *** assured me that Tartina in no way condones this practiceThank you for your attention to this matter
