Company is not accurate about their charges. The owner uses vague language which is easily misinterpreted. Eg. I said I wanted to find someone closer to where I live due to mover being located an hour away from my move and he said "don't worry, we do that all the time" but proceeded to charge for travel time and then said "I didn't say there was not a charge, I said "don't worry, we do that all the time.
We spoke earlier and we will be able to get this move done , it should take merely 3 hours or less for $600." (Chris H)
*he uses 3 separate names, which I was unaware of until after)
He was unprofessional, urinated in my bathroom with the door open, charged for cigarette breaks, time to stop and eat food (which I provided) and complained about the physical excursion of the move due to being out of shape (this is his job) and spent most of the time talking to me about his wife leaving him 6 months ago which was uncomfortable because he knew I was a therapist. Also he informed me of charges against him for domestic violence which can be intimidation especially when this person knows where I live; he established pity and intimidation which leads to many feeling scared to complain especially a singe female.
This led to payment in order to just get Christopher *** H to leave as I did not feel safe with him in my home at that time.
He quoted one price and charged almost double. I have all the email conversations where he both misled and then personalized my constructive criticism. He used language that was misleading, was unprofessional and not pleasant to work with.
I feel this is murky due to the vagueness of his limited interactions but I also know that was purposeful in order to get away overcharging and feel frustrated at the lack of options to protect consumers with this matter.
Refund return of the $375.00 over I feel I was charged. Original quote was $600.00 and there was no reason that it should have been any more than that. I have pictures of how well packed the apartment was, the amount of work they had to complete in the 3 hours they were there as well as the ease of the location I moved to as far as getting the truck unloaded. He has the same reply to every complaint as well as a criminal background that consumers should be make aware of before hiring him
We did the job we were hired to do. Showed up on time, made no damages , no hidden fees, and the customer was extremely happy upon completion as there are to witnesses to the moving job. She wrote us a check that was cashed and deposited as the customer later emailed us to ask us to hold off on cashing her check. We a signed statement that the customer stated she was satisfied with the service and payment was to be made in full. The exact amount the check was written for. I believe the customer just wants some kind of refund as their finances are tight.
