On December 3rd, we booked these clients a couples massage at our spa with two registered massage therapists as requested Due to unforeseen circumstances, one of the clients was denied coverage of the massage by their insurance provider Our therapist that performed the massage is
in fact a member in good standing with the ***; however, is not recognized by *** *** This was an issue that we were unaware of at the time of booking We had no intentions or way of forseeing that the claim would be denied We do apologize sincerely for any inconvenience that this has caused We are glad the issue was brought to our attention and willl use this information in future bookings. As the treatment was received and enjoyed by the clients, we felt that a 50% reimbursement was a fair arrangement At this point the client was getting increasingly angry, and using aggressive language and threats Management felt the best course of action would be to end the conversation and allow the client a cool down period as the conversation was not getting any closer to reaching an agreement at this time and we have a zero tolerance policy for aggression or threats towards any member of our team. At this point we are hoping to reach an end to this dispute and are willing to offer a 100% reimbursement for the single service that was not covered
