Review: We come from China and import hardwood logs from the USA. We signed the PI of 3 containers red oak logs with [redacted] from Mountain Timber Company in October, 2013. Then we wired him 50% payment of the PI amount upon the tallies in October, 2013. The prepayment was $14,504.10. Then he did not ship the 3 loads. I am not sure if he just make up the tallies to get my prepayment. After a long fighting with him, he shipped one container red oak logs which has the value $9,003.80 in March of 2014. Those logs were totally different to the tallies he sent us in October,2013. After the delivery of this load, we found the quality was poor, we ask him to refund the balance $5,500.30 to us. Then he said he will ship the second container. Many stories between that time. He always can not reply our email and answer our phone call. He was keeping changing his mind. At the end of May of 2014, he said he had one container logs ready and would send me the tallies that day. But I did not get anything from him. So I keep calling him and send him email to know what's going on, he did not give me any reply and any confirmation. Then he saied he will refund the balance $5,500.30 to us, but he did not give us any confirmation when he would wire the money back to us.He is keeping changing his mind like before. Two week ago, he said he sent us the check for this payment. The result turned that he was lying. By now, we don't know when he will refund the money $5,500.30 to us! They have borken the contract in many ways, but we just need the balance money back. He has no any reason to keep our money! It has been a long time. We can not understand he can do thing like this in the USA. We are a company in China and can not afford to hire a layer to sue him in the USA. We import the hardwood logs from USA and hope this case will not hurt the hardwood business between USA and China.
