I got an "IMPORTANT NOTICE" in the mail a week following my purchase of a new car, stating that my "service contract " on my vehicle had not been updated"Personal and confidential "--"alert notice" , and other plumped up scare statements were includedWhat was NOT included was any address, auto brand affiliation or any reference to actual coverage which I already hadI called the number , and was transferred to a "specialist" (Jason) ,who proceeded to read off a list of " coverages " I would get , and , several times , he asked me what credit card I would be usingI could NOT get this guy off my phoneI finally had to hang upA TOTAL MARKETING SCAM!!!
Fake official looking letter stating your service warranty needs updating Total scam, run from them!
They are not out of business as Revdex.com suggests; I just got a "Vehicle Document/Alert Notice" requesting I can a 1-number because my car warantee is expired (it's not)The scary thing is that they have my name, address, and car make and modelWhere did they get this info? Yikes
I received a refund check from company in the amount of $2416.25. Not the full amount but I am happy to have received something. I am waiting to make sure that the check clears my account. Thank you for your help.
I have previously filed a report but need to add to it. This company did rip me off, and though I tried to be nice, I truly do deserve a refund. My other report was #[redacted]. I didn't see a way to edit it so I have created another one. I paid this company at total of $500.58 from 8/31/17 to...
10/31/17 thinking that I was getting a good warranty policy on my car. Well, it is relatively useless to me, so I called today 11/7/17 to cancel. The salesman was extremely rude and for over 20 minutes refused to cancel my policy, using every means possible to try and change my mind and also asking me personal questions that were none of his business. I originally just filed a customer service complaint. But I have found that this company has scammed other people, so I am trying to see if I can be refunded.
Thank you for your help on my behalf. While I was not able to get any sort of cooperation from the company that I complained about, my bank was able to aid me in getting a refund. I appreciate your help and will definitely check the Revdex.com rating of other companies that I encounter from now on so that I avoid scams. [redacted]
Review: I had a rep from the business call me and discuss purchasing extended warranty for my vehicle he transferred me to a "Kelly" to discuss the coverage he was very abrupt rude and very persistent insisting that I comply now even after I explained I need to discuss it with my spouse first. We were disconnected he called immediately back and still talking over me insisting that I contact my husband while putting him on hold so I could give him an answer now I questioned him if I could contact him at a later date and was told no he started talking over me and I said no thank you and hung UPDesired Settlement: TO MAKE MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICES AWARE OF THE UNPROFFESIONALISM AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC CONSUMER KNOW WHAT I EXPERIENCED AND HOW PRESSURED I FELT AND THE FEELING OF THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOR
Review: Received a flyer from the company stating our vehicle warranty had expired. I know better...the vehicle is a 2012 [redacted] with a 3 yr/36000 mi warranty. This is clearly a false statement.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this misleading practice stop as I am sure there are some out there without knowledge of their vehicle warranty and this type of shock letter could result in the consumer paying for a warranty service they do not need. I have no problem with companies offering this type of service but I feel this flyer is a blatant, misleading lie attempting to get uninformed persons to buy the service. I would like the Revdex.com to investigate or record this complaint and take whatever action is felt necessary to stop them from sending these types of flyers.
Review: I received a notice via mail on 24 Jan 14, claiming that my post factory vehicle warranty terms will expire on Jan. 23. The claim has pieces of information about me and my vehicle that is both correct and not correct (address and type of car). leading me to think that this is not a legit request. The false information is the so called Expired Vehicle # [redacted]. The request also does not have any prices of how much the warranty will cost that they are offering me. They just want me to call a number (###-###-####) immediately.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop any further contact with me.
Review: This company tries to trick car owners into buying their third party extended warranty products by suggesting their warranty may be expiring.
The company sends out a mailing to a recent car buyer with information about the car included such as the make and model of the car. The mailing includes lots of warning language about how your "factory warranty may be expiring" and you will be in danger of paying for expensive repairs. It also includes a deadline to respond to increase the sense of urgency. Their strategy is to make you think you need to address a problem rather than just that they are offering a service. The first time I got the mailing, I thought it was from my dealer, and was confused because my warranty was not set to expire for another 5 years. The company name is featured only in tiny letters at the bottom, because they want it to look like it is from the dealer or some other official body. It includes langauge that you have been pre-approved and includes a "customer ID number" as if it is coming from something you are already involved with.Desired Settlement: Stop sending these deceitful advertisemnts to consumers.
