Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The arguement about time from Seward to Anchorage is inaccurate My wife and I left Seward at 8:45pm and arrived back in Anchorage at 11:15pm, riding the speed limit that is hours On the day in question, there was no road construction happening due to the weekend I lost hours of riding time Additional use of the motorcycle to compensate for this loss was never offered The manager and the staff that came to service the bike was driving to Seward to fish for Father's day My break down was an inconvenience, as they reported this to the motorist who provided road side assistance and tools If road side assistance is required by the agreement, their should be required initials by that clause in the agreement The attendant checking the bike out did not mention that mechanical break downs were to be handled by "roadside assistance." A copy of the signed agreement was not provided to me by the attendant; I had nothing to reference in the event of a breakdown as to the action that I should take Upon return of the rented bike, I was provided a copy of the various documents(not the document that I signed) These included: "MotoQuest Rental Agreement," "MotoQuest Acknowledgements and Assumptions of Risk," "MotoQuest Motorcycle Rental Release of Liability," and "MotoQuest Loss Damage Waiver." I have read through these documents several times and have not found the clause describing what the Manager is stating above regarding, AAA and other roadside assistance The bottom line - the Manager was a jerk and made accusations regarding the cause of the breakdown If he would have presented an apologetic approach and would have shown consideration for our inconvenience, not his - I would have been more accepting In light of this fact, and the information that he is providing in his response to my claim, I expect a credit for the lost riding time of hours at the same rate that would have been charged for a late return If he chooses to respond, I would like to see a copy of my signed agreement showing the clauses that he is describing that I ignored Secondly, I plan to continue to utilize social media to make the public aware of this manager's response to this complaint.Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:    The arguement about time from Seward to Anchorage is inaccurate.  My wife and I left Seward at 8:45pm and arrived back in Anchorage at 11:15pm, riding the speed limit that is 2.5 hours.  On the day in...

question, there was no road construction happening due to the weekend.  I lost 4 hours of riding time.  Additional use of the motorcycle to compensate for this loss was never offered.  The manager and the staff that came to service the bike was driving to Seward to fish for Father's day.  My break down was an inconvenience, as they reported this to the motorist who provided road side assistance and tools.  If road side assistance is required by the agreement, their should be required initials by that clause in the agreement.  The attendant checking the bike out did not mention that mechanical break downs were to be handled by "roadside assistance."  A copy of the signed agreement was not provided to me by the attendant; I had nothing to reference in the event of a breakdown as to the action that I should take.  Upon return of the rented bike, I was provided a copy of the various documents. (not the document that I signed)  These included:  "MotoQuest Rental Agreement," "MotoQuest Acknowledgements and Assumptions of Risk," "MotoQuest Motorcycle Rental Release of Liability," and "MotoQuest Loss Damage Waiver."  I have read through these documents several times and have not found the clause describing what the Manager is stating above regarding, AAA and other roadside assistance.  The bottom line - the Manager was a jerk and made accusations regarding the cause of the breakdown.  If he would have presented an apologetic approach and would have shown consideration for our inconvenience, not his - I would have been more accepting.  In light of this fact, and the false information that he is providing in his response to my claim, I expect a credit for the lost riding time of 4 hours at the same rate that would have been charged for a late return.  If he chooses to respond, I would like to see a copy of my signed agreement showing the clauses that he is describing that I ignored.  Secondly, I plan to continue to utilize social media to make the public aware of this manager's response to this complaint.Sincerely,[redacted]
