Motherwear will not exchange clothes received that are sized incorrectly claiming all sale items are "final sale." I spent over $50 on four shirts that I order online on 5/3/2013. On the website one of the shirts said it was "final sale." I received the shirts and none of them fit (the sizing they had listed on there site was completely inaccurate). I emailed the company requesting that they allow me to send back the shirts and exchange them for correct sizes and they refused saying that they are "final sale" items that are not eligible for refund or exchange. Now I have four shirts that do not fit and I am out $50.96 because the sizing on their website is completely inaccurate. Desired SettlementI want the money refunded back. I am willing to send the shirts back, but I want my money back or at the very least I would like to exchange the shirts for the correct size. Business' Initial Response We are sorry that [redacted] is dis-satisfied. Unfortunately, these are final sale items that are very clearly marked in red font on our website that they are running small and that the customer needs to size up and very clearly marked as final sale items. See the descriptive wording we use below and also see the items on www.Motherwear.com **Garment is running small please size upFINAL SALE ! All sales final, no exchanges, no returns. Valid while supplies last.[redacted] ordered and received the 4 nursing shirts and we shipped them to her at no cost. If she would like to return the items and we have the same item in a larger size, we will replace them but will have to charge the cost to ship them. We did not respond to the first notice as this complaint was sent to an email address of someone who is no longer with the company and was not discovered until today. Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I only recall one of the items being marked "final sale" on the website. And only one of the shirts indicated that it was running small and I did order a larger size on that item, but it was still too small. Only when I got the order confirmation did I become aware that all the items I had ordered were final sale. None of the items fit, as the sizes on the website are inaccurate. I am dissatisfied with the items and sizing as well as the customer service. The company took over a month to respond to my complaint and then claimed I should have been sufficiently warned. I am now out $50 and will no longer purchase from Motherwear again.
