Motel 6 - Weed

I stayed in this motel, room ***, on Jan 26th and it was dark when I got there and I was tired, so I didn't really turn on the lights or inspect the place, I just hauled in my stuff and went to bed. I stay in Motel 6's often, because they allow pets, and usually they aren't very comfortable or quiet, but they are at least clean. I didn't think I had to take the time to inspect the room. I was busy on Saturday and then I wasn't feeling well. I didn't shower Saturday and I slept from early afternoon until around 1 am, when I got up to use the bathroom and started looking around closely. I realized that the bathroom especially, hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The black marks I thought were just from an old floor, were actually layers of filth and close inspection revealed a ton of mold in the shower. I went back to bed and woke up in the morning and checked out. I spoke to the girl at the counter, but she basically told me a refund was futile. I called the manager on Jan 28th and she was unsympathetic, didn't care that I was grossed out, and offered me a $10 discount. The only thing people expect at a motel is a clean room. I'm sorry if good help is hard to find, but this was beyond disgusting and someone should be checking up on the maid staff.
