Morning Valley Berners

I purchased a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Jason S of Morning Valley Berners in October 2019. The puppy was delivered healthy but filthy. Within a month, we realized that my son was allergic to him. I contacted Jason to ask whether I should return the puppy or sell him myself. At that time, Jason offered to refund 1/2 the purchase price ($1850) and pay 1/2 of the $400 return transportation fee for the dog. I returned the pup in excellent condition in early October, only to have Jason make excuses as to why he wouldn’t issue the refund. At this time, he told me he wouldn’t send a refund until he re-sold the dog — which would be difficult because the dog was now 16 weeks old.
By November, Jason was no longer communicating with me at all. All emails, texts and calls are still ignored.

If he had told me from the start that he would not refund my money, I would have sold the dog myself. But by taking the dog back, he’s profited off me and whomever has the dog now.
