I spoke to Mr. (in person) on September 9, 2019 concerning filing bankruptcy. He explained the process and his fee of $1650.00. I receive the email with his paperwork and I brought in all required information. On October 24, 2019, I did a debit card transaction of $650.00 downpayment. In December, I started having car problems. I spoke with Ms. (his assistant) concerning my issues with my car. I told her I wanted to cancel the bankruptcy because I was going to have to buy another car. She said she would have Mr. call me. I have left several messages since then. February 9, 2020, I called, he was not available. His assistant gave me his email. I emailed a letter to him. February 21, 2020, I spoke to him. He said he saw my email. I told him the Credit Union is willing to work with me on purchasing another car. He said he would deduct his fee and refund me the balance. I made several more calls since then. I email another letter on March 4, 2020 concering my refund. He has not respond til this date. I never sign a contract with Mr..

On March 31st we received your initial letter requesting a response by March 30th. I acknowledge that Ms. has requested a refund. Our office informed Ms. that she can come by any time and pick up the refund for what was on hand in her case. Our policy is that she has to release us from responsibility of her case, and must sign a release at the time of picking up the check. She was informed of this on my call with her in late February. Since that time she has called inquiring about the refund, but never follows up by coming to pick it up.
Presently our offices are closed due to the coronavirus, but once we are operational again she is once again welcome to come pick up the check and sign the release.
