More Than Basketball

Arize I promoted a girls basketball high school league for fall 2019. We signed up two teams for this league - both for $750. This was on August 23, 2019. The company he runs (More Than Basketball) then cancelled the league and we requested a refund on September 12, 2019. I followed up on September 20, 2019. On September 22, 2019, Arize stated that "You will receive a full refund. In my experience it has taken up to 30 days." That would have been October 12. He said the same thing on October 3. He then said we would only be given credit for another league at some point in the future rather than a refund. This is when we disputed the payment on our credit card.

We also contacted the payment service that he uses (***) -- Arize does not allow for refunds through the credit card which means he has to write. us a check -- according to ***. Arize now does not want to refund us despite repeated emails.

One person who works for him said that he canceled leagues and then does not refund the money.
