services that we provide.  What [redacted] referred to as a piece of cardboard in his complaint was actually a statically charged OEM cabin filter.  The manufacturer charges up to $99 for a comparable filter.  In essence [redacted] was comparing apples to oranges in his complaint.  After my discussion with [redacted], he seemed to understand the difference.  I apologized to [redacted] for our technician not being able to explain to him in a way he could comprehend the merits of what was installed and the going rate for a comparable filter which is much more than what we charge.  As an olive branch to [redacted], I offered to discount his next service the amount of the cabin filter.  [redacted] accepted this gesture and our conversation ended.
