I took my tire and rim to have a new valve stem put on. When they took the tire off the rim they left gashes in my rim from tools in several spots.I had a leak in my valve stem, I took my tire to Moore Auto Clinic to have them fix the leak. I wipe and clean my car and rims EVERY day as they are $2500 rims. After picking my tire up and getting home, when I took it out of the car to put it back on, I noticed that they had left gashes in my rim in several places from the tools that they used to take the tire off. I took pictures of my rims right before I dropped them off so I have proof which is date and time stamped. Aside from that I'm pretty sure the gashes can be matched to the tools they used at the shop. When I returned to ask about the gashes she insisted that they used towels and they could not have done that. She never even bothered to ask the actual mechanic who had changed the tire IF he had done that. This leads me to believe that they KNEW before I left they had done that and were now engaged in a cover up to keep from making it right.Desired SettlementI would like for them to either replace the 1 rim that they scratched all up. Another acceptable solution would be to give me the monetary value for the one rim and I will replace it myself.
