Review: On February [redacted] 2015 I received a collection notice from [redacted](third party collection company) Acct#[redacted] Date of Service 07/**/2014 making me aware my account was placed with them for debt resolution of $19.29.... I never received not one single notice from Montefiore billing me for $19.29; if I would have received a notice I would have paid the amount due. I wouldn't risk my outstanding credit history which can be verfied for $19.29. I am unaware what the amount is for and why I am being billed for a low amount when at the time of service I was covered by my health insurance. I don't have nothing to substantiate $19.29. This is the first time I am hearing of this and I am appalled that thier proper protocol is to send an account to a third party collection agency without first trying to notify the person who owes the debt. All my contact information is current as has been the same since June of 2011.Desired Settlement: I would like my account to be immediately removed from the third party collection agency. I would also appreciate an itemized bill/summary of the charges in question and any supporting info which can validate debt.
