I *** owner of *** rented suite 2 at monik hair salon! During quarantine I could not work due to lock down, monik hair salon still made me pay her the two months I did not work, she will get into my bussiness stealing clients by excuses by letting me solve my own situation with client vs. Her trying to steal clients, complaining about raising rent, July was all paid for and she decided to terminate and she got into my bussiness, so I left the 10th of July I could not take the pressure what she’s was doing is unfair. she would not respect her tenant. She decided to termíname during the covid situation and decided to rent to my ex employee right after I left. So basically she kicked me out to rent someone else. You do not do that! I request a refund of month of april and July! Which is $1600 dollars! This is not fair. I’m a honest person and don’t be getting into no one bussiness just ready to work. Salon owner doesn’t know how to run her own bussiness. She may have her policies but she’s really unfair person. You don’t kick someone to have an employee of someone she rented before to rent her now. She needs to be inspected as well. Ca Nails Salon!

Monik Hair Salon Response • Aug 18, 2020

Im Monica ***, I'm responding on the complain made by ***, She used to rent a room inside my hair salon, we have a lease and she broke some of the rules that I have for the tenants, in addition to that she was constantly having issues with her own clients and that was affecting the reputation of my salon, during the time that the salon was closed she was the only one who did not pay rent, I'm renting that place and the bills never stoped, During that time she said that she didn't have any money to pay for the rent so I gave her the option of termination of her lease but she decided to stay because she said that the price for the space she was renting from me was very reasonable so I offered the option to give me payments with no interest whenever she could go back to work and she only gave me half of the money, On July 4 she had a problem with one of her clients and her client contacted me the same day to complain about her, I explained to her client that I was not responsible for her services because she was an independent contractor and that day I decided to give her the 28 days notice due to the conflicts that she was constantly having with her clients and for breaking the rules that we all have at the salon. she ended up leaving before the 28 days and a few weeks later I got contacted by one of the girls that used to work for her and she showed me some text messages where *** was asking her to write me bad reviews on Google, since *** left my salon I got 8 bad reviews on Google from persons that are not my clients. I have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years and I have a lot of regular clients. At this point I'm considering on taking some legal actions for Libel/ Slander.

I have screenshots that shows how she is asking her ex employee to write me bad reviews and *** asked her employee to go to work when she had all the symptoms of Corona Virus( I have proves of that), *** has a really bad temper and that's why she hasn't been able to have regular clients, Jackeline is constantly chanching locations and looking for new clients because for some reason she can't have regular clientel so she is contantly paying for advertising due to her lack of regular clients.

if it is necessary I can send a copy of the lease agreements that I have for all the tenants who had not had any problems with it and a copy of the written notice lease termination that I gave to Jackeline on July 4th and also I can send the screenshot of the conversation where she is asking a person who is not my client to write me bad reviews and where she is asking her employee to work with the corona virus symptoms.

*** is not my client and I have never given her a service. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Monica

Complaint: ***

Previous Complaint I did not see Messages or Notice until I got an email today is being closed. #*** I *** was a tenant for Monik hair salon. I had an employee who would work for me. I trusted this employee. short story short Monik terminated me to rent my ex employee. in Previous response to my complaint this is an update of what I found out and have proof she started renting there. Response to previous complaint, monik would always like to get into my business which I only rent there not for her to be after me about how I run my business. if she complains about my employee having symptoms we both got tested and came out negative, that's is not for her to get into my business. my ex employee is responsible to communicate with her clients about rescheduling. I let her go because everything was getting to suspicious the way she was causing my business complaints from clients which I had to resolve always. that's is not monik business I'm just a TENANT. when it comes to scheduling appointments I have an agreement with the client they use to book in a application. this is not the issue. the issue is I rented this place for her to break my lease and makes me pay for money I did not have in the moment and paid her all passed rent except only half of April I did not pay because she end up terminating me and I was going to pay her. which is not fair because we should not get charged for this. Other salon suites owners did not charge their tenants for this cause, they provide it free rent. so I'm asking for refund for march18th till end of march, Half of April which I paid her and did not work that whole month neither and May1st till May 8th, and last month of July from the 10th till the end of July 31st. which was paid in full. so I'm talking of $1,509.67 I have no other discussions and this is what I ask for. it was a bad experience because she complain about any little thing. caused of raising rent as well for light bill when I signed and agreement for such amount month to month. and I have proof of texts how she would respond to me. I always tried to get along with her but I guess she always had a problem with me. I'm a very fair person. but when it comes to my business you have to respect my own rules. I only rented her there she was not my boss. I just go to work to be getting complains about any little simple thing. I have proof of her little complaints which it has no meaning. she had no right to get into my business when it comes to our clients. my clients that know me know how I run my business that's why I get a lot of good feedback. A lot of people come looking for my services. I took this as a person problem. this lady has issues. always negative, and putting why's? excuses. in a way I'm glad she terminated me because it was too much. so this is what I request refund for the days I did not use the room for those dates I mentioned earlier.

I want Refund From the Day I Had to Stop Working March18th Till May 8th when I went back to work. I did not use nothing which is only fair and also month of July which I paid a whole month of July, left July 10th because of termination. Total Refund, $1,509.67.

Regards
