Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/12) */
in researching our records, the vehicle in question was sold to *** *** (not ***) at a Nevada addressThe vehicle was sold on 2/24/(almost years ago)during this time we have no contact from anyone regarding the vehicle
Monarch purchased the vehicle on 4/29/from ADESA Golden Gate Auction in Tracy, CaThe mileage at the time of purchase was 25,milesThe vehicle was sent to the Auction by Hertz Corp in Burlingame, CaThe vehicle was utilized by Monarch Rentals from the purchase date at the auction until the date it was sold(2/24/2010)During this time, Monarch performed all the maintenance on the vehicleAt the time of the sale the mileage was 34,At no time did Monarch alter the mileage on the vehicleSince we have not seen for vehicle for almost years we cannot comment on the condition of the parts on the vehicle
Monarch is celebrating it's 40th anniversaryIn all of that time I can not recall having a Revdex.com complaint filed against usIn summary, We certify the mileage listed above are the correct as to the items mentioned
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This vehicle has been inspected by two different mechanical shopsThere are several issues with this vehicleWhich could indicate that the parts failures are premature with the vehicle with supposedly lower mileageThe list of current part failures are:
* broken motor mounts
* front rotor replacement( worn out)
* front end alignment parts ( calipers or something)
* spark plug replacement needed ( typically these are only needed at far more mileage)
* catalytic converter failure
* gas mileage about to miles per gallon
* shock absorbers
* paint overspray on frame of vehicle ( this could indicate vehicle was in wreck previously was never told anything about this when purchasing vehicle)
* air conditioning system issues leakage( not cooling)
All this (except a/c system) is verified in writing by professional shopsComplaints have been made to:
Bureau automotive repair
DMV investigations
Attorney general investigations
Of vehicle was supposed to be low mileage like this should not be in this type of condition and have this type of mechanical failuresI felt that I needed to bring this to attention of monarch trucks and Revdex.comThese are the only options I have as a consumer
