I am responding to your letter dated May 30 2014 regarding the above referenced complaint from Mr. [redacted] who is a member of our physician provider network. As of the date of this email we have placed Mr. [redacted] on our “DO NOT CONTACT” list regarding health care related mailings. While it is possible that Mr. [redacted] may receive mailings that were distributed prior to the date of this email, Mr. [redacted] is now on our DO NOT CONTACT list. Review: I have stage 3 cancer and my Doctor set up an authorization on 03/06/2015 to see surgeons at UCLA Hospital to remove cancer. Monarch approved it & I went to see the UCLA Surgeons. UCLA set up surgery for 04/20/2015. On 04/03/2015 Monarch denied the surgery and said I had to start over with UCI Hospital. I did that, then on 04/08/2015 Monarch said UCI was denied & I had to go back to UCLA. On 04/09/2015 Monarch said I could go to either UCI or UCLA. This is no way to serve someone with stage 3 cancer. I received nothing but the run a round from Monarch.Desired Settlement: I want Monarch to provide to me copies of all my records they have in their system about me. The referals, authorizations, denials, everything in my file. I want Monarch to also provide to me a written description of everything they have done, are doing and will do for me. I want it all spelled out so I know what is gone on, going on & will go on.
