on 11/5/19 I took two un programmed key fobs to this dealer. I gave them my working key fob on a key ring which also had the car key on it so they had two blank remote fobs and one programmed remote fob with my car key and a connector for my main key ring. The business charged me $50 for trying to program the 2 key fobs. I specifically told them I had spare batteries for the fobs in case it might be a battery issue. When I got home, I checked the batteries in the blank fobs and both were dead. They said they also checked an error message on the working fob - which I never asked them to do. So I paid $50 to drive 21 miles, waste more than an hour while they did nothing and then paid $50. In addition, they lost a part of my key chain while they were NOT programming the fobs and refused to do anything about it. I called them on November 7, 2019 and spoke with a person named Kayla about being charged for no work done and also about the missing key chain part.It sounded as if she would look into the issue of the dead batteries and try to help me even though she was angry that I had already left a negative review. She asked me to email a photo of the part of the key chain that they lost (I have the exact same part for another vehicle). I took the photo and sent it the same day, 11/7/19 at 1:22pm. No one ever responded about either issue and I have not even been able to find a replacement for the missing part of my key chain online. I called and spoke to a service rep who asked Kayla about the email I sent and he relayed to me through Kayla that a person named Don said they were not going to do anything about it. I guess that means they aren't going to make good on the $50 I spent for them to do nothing with dead key fobs and they aren't going to do anything about losing my personal property. I do not feel this is right. I am disgusted that no one ever replied at all and I had to call them again. Do I have any recourse?
