Since we were hosting a baby shower the following Saturday, we hired them even though their quote was the highest one we got BY FAR. On Monday they called to schedule a Thursday afternoon installation with a fallback date of Saturday. Fallback date? Nobody said there'd be a fallback date! Already things were taking a turn for the worse. But they made us feel optimistic about the Thursday timeslot, so we took it. On Thursday morning, I called to confirm the installation, and they said they'd let us know if they couldn't make it. I told them they could come as early or late as they needed. So far so good? Finally, 5 PM rolls around, and my wife calls to find out why they weren't there yet. That's when they informed her that they couldn't make it, and they'd have to come on Saturday morning instead. Since a Saturday installation was going to make things very tough for us, my wife pleaded with them to either come late Thursday evening or early on Saturday to give us as much time as possible between the installation and the party. Yes, my wife complained about having been assured an installation by Friday while in the showroom, but never once did she raise her voice or become unruly as I probably would have done. And even if she had, she still wouldn't have deserved what she got from them. At the end of the phone call, my wife got transferred to the manager. He didn't even wait for her to tell her story, he just hung up on her while he told her: "We don't want your business. The [redacted] with you!" So now we'll have plywood for a countertop at our baby shower, and we'll have to be placed at the end of the queue at one of the more reasonably priced granite providers. Our experience went from "yes we can get it installed by Friday" to "the [redacted] with you" in just five short days. Save yourself some money and the headache of working with this company. The reasonably priced granite store in [redacted] featured on [redacted] or [redacted] It is just a couple miles away from Mogastone. That's where we'll be crawling back to now.","neg-1
