Review: We ordered LED mirrors from [redacted].com and Modo Bath was the supplier. These mirrors were made in Italy and were never converted to US voltage nor were they inspected / marked as UL listed as required by our state building inspector, (installation was part of a bathroom remodel). I have an email from Carla D[redacted] (Modo Bath) indicating that the mirrors are UL listed although there were no stickers attached because they were "expensive to get". When I asked for documentation to show the building inspector we were told we could return them. The whole process took over a month because one of the mirrors we received was damaged and it took another 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive. We did not keep the original packaging since we were assured that in fact the mirrors were UL inspected. Now that we need to return them we are being put through the wringer to reproduce original packaging for the 2 good mirrors and the damaged one (at our expense) AND to pay for return shipping. They have said that the mirrors need to be returned via a specific trucking process, palletized, etc and have offered no assistance, only demands. The latest being that the cardboard boxes be WHITE like the original boxes rather than standard brown cardboard which is all the professional packaging people in this area have available. Up until we said we were sending the 2 good mirrors back they hadn't decided if they wanted the damaged one back or not but now they want us to pay to have that one professionally packaged as well. They have been extremely difficult to deal with and in my opinion unreasonable. You would think that when a person spends $2645 for two bathroom mirrors they would try and keep your business but all they have done is displayed extremely poor customer service.Desired Settlement: Full refund including the cost required to repackage the two good mirrors and ship them back. We would not have ever ordered them if they had been forthcoming with the fact that they are NOT UL listed nor are they wired for US voltage. Additionally, we would not have thrown out the original packaging if there was ever a doubt about the usability of these mirrors but they led us to believe that they had been UL inspected and would pass inspection. I can provide the email string if necessary.
