I placed an order to buy and Italian bedroom set. I was told that it will take 8-12 weeks to get it. This was in early May. So I called around mid of July to check on my order and I was told it should be here around the second week of August. I called again in early August and I was told that the manufacturing in Italy is closed for the entire month of August and I should be able to get a status on my order the first week of September. Around the third week of August I got a refund of full amount to my purchase price. I never cancelled my order. I have been calling them from since (almost a month) and no one answers the phone and no one retunes my calls. I left a numerous number of messages and I also send them an email message through my online account with them but never received a reply. HERE I AM AFTER FOUR PLUS MONTHS OF WAITING WITH NO FUFRNITURE AND NO CLUE. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Good afternoon, My mother had decided to purchase new furniture, she has been saving for it for quite some time and has been waiting for it as well. She has been waiting for the furniture made from microfiber because we love animals and we have 3 cats and 1 dog at home. My mother is very old..she is 76 and she doesnt speak much English unfortunately. I have been trying to keep in contact with your management regarding the details of my order by email and by phone as well to be sure that the furniture is made exactly by the fabric (microfiber) which she had ordered.She exactly wanted the microfiber because it is healthy for her and our pets as well and easy to clean. I was told by yoy staff in the store that it will definately be made from microfiber. I ordered and paid for the furniture from mircrofibeber specifically 12/**/2014.On the [redacted] of January she rececived the furniture between 8 and 9pm. I requested to unpack it but the movers refused and only opened a part of it and asked whether it was the right color, this was Thursday evening and it was too late to call back. I called my acquaintance to help out my mom to unpack the furniture and place. When my sister and I got back home we saw our mother feeling sick because she was upset with the fact that the furniture was made from wrong fabric and when she gets sad her sugar level jumps because she has [redacted] and [redacted]. I have full paperwork from the doctors for my mother where it shows that since the day the issue started shes been having big problems with her blood pressure and sugar issues because she worried too much.Please be considerate and refund the money for the furniture so at least my mother can calm down her nerves and stop worrying about the fact that she was tricked into buying fake stuff. Regarding complaint #[redacted], we are deeply sorry we cannot get the matching armchairs for the set, we searched with many manufacturers and unfortunately cannot get the chairs. Regarding complaint ##[redacted]. Our customer inquired about a particular sectional advertised on our webpage which was currently unavailable in the color/material she wanted. We had presented the customer a similar sectional which we did not have advertised on our webpage but was very...
similar in style and looks. The customer proceeded to purchase the sectional which we emailed over to her and explained it is a off white/brown upholstery which is the information provided to us by the manufacturer. The customer was very interested in the color of the sectional and the customer never questioned the material of the sectional. We also have an invoice forward to the customer with the listing name of the original sectional she chose because the sectional she purchased was an item we did not have advertised on our website. We left the listing title and the product number on the invoice for the original sectional she inquired about for the customers references. On the date of the delivery we had the item delivered inside the customer home, we also unwrapped two pieces of the sectional which the customer inspected and confirmed it was in good condition and in fact the item that was ordered. Our delivery drivers left without removing any packaging from the customers home. The customer also signed for the items on the delivery date. Over a week after the completed delivery the customer contacted out store informing us that the item was not the same material she wanted. We explained to her the sectional was similar style but not exactly the same sectional. The customer was fine with that but the customer demanded us to order a microfiber cover for the sectional which is impossible. The customer also mentioned the items were fully unwrapped from the original packaging, the sectional was assembled, and the packaging has been discarded. Normally we would have no issues on returning or exchanging items but we do have a policy for returns or exchanges. The items must be returned or exchanged(or our office must be notified) within 7 days of receiving the item, also the item must not be assembled or used in anyway, and the customer needs the original manufacturer packaging for the item so we can return the sectional to the manufacture. Unfortunately the customer assembled the item and discarded the packaging for the item. -- Sincerely,[redacted]

I did contact the business the same day that the last chairs where delivered and I also followed their claim protocol. I spoke to [redacted] and it was the Friday before Columbus Day. [redacted] told me that no [redacted] was in that day due to the holiday and that he would be sure to have them call me Monday. I told him that I Work retail and I would assume that the [redacted] would not be available on Monday as well due to the holiday. He said they would. I waited till Friday after Columbus day, left a message and still have not received a follow up call. Hence why I contacted the Revdex.com. I am quite sure Modern Euro Design is mistaken when a few of the facts of our transactions so allow me to clear them up. 1. They did not tell me that the arm chair that I wanted were out of stock for I would have chosen a different set that had arm chairs. The Credit was given for them not taking off the 10% that was advertised on their website when I placed my order. When I called about it, I was told that that was an expired advertisement. I informed the sales associate that I was looking on their website as we were speaking and it was still there and they should honor it. I was never given credit for chairs because I was never told they were not available. I would not have kept on ASKING them are they sending the CORRECT chairs this time because the invoice said 6 chairs. 2. When I spoke to the first associate who contacted me about the table not be available for delivery: I asked him would the chairs fit under the table with the 2 new suggestions that he had emailed me and he said they would. I saw chairs that came with the current table that I have and it is smaller so, needless to say; no ones legs fit under this table without you hitting your Knee. Again, these are questions that I asked prior to delivery. So,no Modern Euro's Design has not addressed any of my concerns Th 3. They have yet to address the issue of them picking up the first set of chairs. I was told instructions would come after my delivery.... I Still have the excess chairs in my garage. Again proving my point on no follow up or accurate communication from this business.
Review: I came upon a bedroom set on [redacted] sold by Modern Euro Designs. I made the best offer after which [redacted] sent me a message asking for my zip code and phone number. He declined the offer on [redacted] but kept calling me as he had accepted the offer outside of [redacted]. I was not comfortable with the deal outside of [redacted] for such a huge amount ( $3900.00) . I inquired about another set he had on [redacted] for lesser value ($1199.00 for king size bed), he talked me into paying the amount of $1500.00 immediately on phone and promised me delivery of the bedroom set (king bed with 2 matching night stands) before Thanksgiving. The deal was done on November [redacted] and I paid the amount on November [redacted] after I received the invoice in my e- mail. After receiving the amount that day [redacted] asked me to call him in 2 days to check for the delivery status. When I did call he said that he cannot deliver it as promised before Thanksgiving. He offered to refund the $1500.00 as I needed the set immediately and could buy another set from a local store before Thanksgiving . That was the last I have heard from [redacted] and Modern Euro Designs. My repeated attempts to reach him via phone calls,e-mails and [redacted] too went in vain. He has not responded to any of my messages nor returned any call, neither has he refunded my amount.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of $1500.00 into my account.

Review: I bought a bed frame from this company in August of 2014. In August of 2015, one of the metal bars on the frame under the mattress broke when I sat down on the edge of the bed. I contacted the business (several attempts for them to answer the phone) and I was told to email their claims department and include pictures of the broken frame). I then left a voicemail stating that I sent the email and to please call me back and I never heard back from them. In November of 2015 I sent them another email and a voicemail the next day and still have not heard back. And now, there is yet another part of the bed frame broken. This bed frame costed me almost $1500.00 and all I would like is to speak to someone to see what can be done or if and how it could be fixed.Desired Settlement: I would like this to be repaired.

Review: On June **, 2014, I purchased brown leather couches from Modern European Design for the purchase price of $2,999.00 plus shipping on [redacted]. In early July, 2014, [redacted] from Modern European Design contacted me stating that the brown leather couches did not arrive in the July shipment. He asked that I wait for the August shipment to determine whether the brown couches would be delivered. In early August, 2014, I spoke to [redacted] from Modern European Design who again stated that the brown couches did not arrive in the August shipment. He asked if I would accept black leather couches. I politely declined to accept black leather couches and asked for a full refund. He stated that because the purchase had been made in June, 2014, that he would have to complete the refund by check for the full purchase price plus shipping. He assured me that the check would be mailed on August **, 2014. On September **, 2014, I contacted [redacted] by telephone and left several voicemails regarding the status of the refund check. On September **, 2014, [redacted] offered a full refund in partial payments, which I cannot accept because on August **, 2014, we agreed to a full refund in one check. Review: I ordered a table that was clear glass and chose 6 chairs, 2 which were to be arm chairs. My order was placed August [redacted] I got a call saying that my table was on back order and I was given 2 other choices. I asked could I have the same chairs and was told yes. My delivery came and I was sent the wrong chairs and none were arm chairs at that. Called company right away and they told they would have a [redacted] get back to me. I called several times and get a voicemail. I finally get [redacted] who tells me they will be sending correct chairs. I reminded him that I paid for arm chairs and I hope that is what will be coming. I assured me they would. It is now October and a second delivery comes and again no arm chairs and a set of chairs that are lighter than advertised and does not match my home's decor. I try calling again and was told that no manger was available due to the Columbus Day holiday, and they would call me Monday. I have called several times and left several messages and still no return call. I waited to design my dining area last in my mother's retirement home in which she passed away before retiring to. I have given this company several chances to redeem themselves. I even asked them to come get the other chairs which is cluttering our garage. No response. This is not acceptable. They also did not want to honor their 10% discount till I pushed the issue saying that it was expired and should have come off their website. Which I still see every time I visit the website. Too many issues with this company. The company associate said the chairs I want are no longer available: however, I paid for the armchairs that are some how not available. The chairs they sent are too tall for the table. The chairs would be fine with the original table, but with the other table you can not sit under the table unless you are a very slim person.Desired Settlement: Since the company cannot contact me to resolve this issue. I would like for them to come get their products and refund my monies so I can get a dining set for my family that we can enjoy for years to come. Their product looks great on line but customer service is lacking. They take our monies and then leave us with nothing but a machine to talk to

Regarding complaint #[redacted]. At the time of the purchase the dining table which was selected was currently not in stock and we did not have an ETA on the arrival. The customer chose to go with a different but similar dining table, and so we went along and shipped out the [redacted] table the customer chose.
Unfortunately the chairs we shipped the first time were the wrong chairs, the chairs she received on the first delivery were very very similar to the chairs she chose which was why the mistake happened.
After receiving the chairs the customer did call us to explain the situation, the customer sent the correct information via email for us to correct the situation.
We looked into the chairs that were sent and and also checked the availability on the chairs she originally ordered. Now the chairs she originally ordered, the arm chairs were not in stock, the customer agreed to accept the 6 side chairs. The invoice attached reflects the $60.00 refund for charged for the arm chairs. We then went along and shipped out the chairs to the customer at no cost to the customer.
The customer now claims the chairs are still the wrong chairs which is false because the chairs were inspected before shipping the customer was also aware of the fact that the arm chairs were not available which is why the customer received the $60.00 credit.
We were also never aware of the issues with the second set of chairs, the customer never contacted out office nor did we receive any emails to the claims department.
We did everything we can to rectify the situation.

Review: Pleaced an order and paid off White/Brown Microfiber Sectional Sofa With Ottoman.Delivery of furniture made of a different material.I make calls and send messages to the company,to explain that I ordered another furniture/send a copy of the receipt furniture,where it says exactly what I ordered and paid for what.Met with the owner company,he yelled at me and said that they would not change the furniture.Desired Settlement: Please help me get my money back!

Next day when I contacted your company this is the answer that I have received from you“The first sectional you inquired about was a microfiber. The sectional option which was forwarded to you stated it was a off white and brown upholstery and was not described as a microfiber. The invoice did not change for reference reasons. Do you have the original packaging for the order?”The package was thrown away because my mother doesn’t understand much in these regulations. I told them the package is gone I offered to pack it back and change it. They said no. They stopped responding to emails and calls. My sister took day off workouts to go to the store and speak to them. She was very appropriate with them and requested to change it and explained the situation with our mother's condition but all they did was laugh and ignore her. When my sister asked as to why they didn’t.?They say that they do not have microfiber or won't process the refund they said they also need money thus they didn't mention anything regarding different fabric. Review: I bought a dining set from Modern euro Design and received it on August *,2013. There were some scratches and paint impurities on the glass table top. I sent pictures of damage to their claim department on August **, 2013 but did not get any response from them. I called the sales person [redacted] and he told me that they don't have a table in stock and it will take a month to get it so wait for a month. I called after a month and was told to wait for a phone call from him after he talks to the [redacted] but again I never received a phone call. I called again and was told same thing and got no phone call in return.I sent e-mail again to claim department on October [redacted], 2013 and talked to [redacted] again and asked to speak with [redacted] and he said that [redacted] was not there and he will have the [redacted] call me by the end of the day. Again, nobody called. I called again and told [redacted] that I will file a complaint to Revdex.com and he told me to go ahead and do so. This is what they do to their customers. They should not be allowed to do business like this.Desired Settlement: I demand a new glass top replacement without any damage or 50% credit of my total bill for sending me damaged furniture. I did not pay full amount to get damaged furniture and I should have received a better customer service and apology from the [redacted] for giving me run around for almost three months without any resolution. I am very unhappy with their lack of good customer service and will never buy anything at all from this online store which seems like a scam. Revdex.com should not allow this business to continue and they should be punished.

For complaint [redacted] , the customer was aware that this was the very last dining table in stock and the customer was aware that the set that was purchase may not be available again and be considered a discontinued item . Also the customer got a very great price for the set considering the fact that it was the very last set . Unfortunately the dining table arrived with minor transit damage. The customer demanded the table be replaced but unfortunately we did not have replacements to set the customer . We were willing to try and locate a furniture repair company which could repair the minor damage but that was refused by the customer .

I was never told that I was getting the last set of dining table set. I was told to wait one month for a replacement of the table when I called their sales person [redacted]. This set is still available on their website(please see the attachment) so I demand replace my scratched glass table top. Giving a small discount doesn't allow them to send damaged furniture to customers. Overall they lack a good customer service and I will not recommend giving any business to this furniture company.
Modern Euro design did not mention that it was their last set of dining room furniture I was ordering. When I called to report damage on the glass table top I was told by their sales person [redacted] to wait one month for the replacement. After that, I was getting run around from them. Last time when I told [redacted] that I will submit complaint to Revdex.com, he told me to go ahead and do so.
In the attachment you can clearly see that they are still selling this table set and it's available, so I demand to get the replacement as soon as possible. Just because they offered small discount, it doesn't automatically give them right to send damaged furniture.
I am very disappointed that this business lack good customer service and I will never recommend anybody to give business to this furniture company.

Review: On 8/**/2012, I made a rather substantial order with moderneurodesign.com., invoice #[redacted]. This order involved a new dining room set, as well as a FULL bedroom set (Indicated as VMAY on the invoice). The VMAY set was ordered on the premise that ALL peices of this set were to be delivered. As such, I was informed that one of the pieces was on backorder, and that the rest of the order was shipping out - but I did not want the bedroom set, unless we were also getting the Chest of Drawers with it, an extra $569. It has been over 2 years, and this company has made no effort to either send me this piece of furniture, or refund my money. I have made countless calls to them, only to be placed on hold indefinately - or be told that I would be getting a call back. I have also tried a number of times to email them, only to recieve vague one line responses such as "we have been informed by the manufacturer that the chest of drawers was misplaced while unloading the recent container . We will reorder the chest today . This particular chest is scheduled to be back in stock in the beginning of April . "
I have had enough of attempting to resolve this throught phone calls and emails. Their unresponsiveness is proof that customer care and satisfaction is not a priority.Desired Settlement: At the very least, I am due the amount of $569 for the chest of drawers that I never received. Additionally, I believe for the time they have wasted on my part, and the fact that I never would have spent money on a bedroom set that could not be fulfilled in its entirety, another $1000 would be somewhat satisfactory. The fact that I spent almost $4000 for a bedroom set that I did not recieve in complete is bad business.

We are in the process of having the item delivered to our [redacted] warehouse to prepare for shipping to the customer. Review: I ordered the "High Gloss White Lacquered Italian Side Board Buffet With Lot Of Storage - Product # 6322 - $782.92" April *, 2015, delivered on April **, 2015. I asked if the Dining Buffet has adjust shelves since it is not displayed on their webpage, the answer was "YES", when the Dining Buffet was delivered on Monday evening, April [redacted], I noticed that there were no shelves and are not in the original design either. I called the [redacted] immediately, I was promised that is if I decide not to want it, they will pick it up without any additional cost to me and with full refund. I called the next morning Tuesday, April [redacted], around 9:30am to request pickup, I was told someone will call be between 11;30am-12:30pm, no one called. I have been trying to contact the seller since then, left numerous messages and sent 3 emails and continue trying. I finally got to speak to [redacted] on [redacted] morning to request a pick up before weekend, who said it will have no problem to pick up and get full refund, the owner John will be in before noon. I never heard from them again, I have tried to call and leave messages, no answer nor returned calls. The Dining Buffet is not as I was told and I was told 3 times (04.**.15, 04.**.15 & 04.**.15) since the delivery that they will pickup the Dining Buffet and receive full refund, but there are no actions and they do not schedule a pick up time nor return my calls.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] to pick up the Dining Buffet without any additional cost to me and with full refund to my credit card account as they promised.

ModernEuroDesign has not scheduled pickup time and unreachableDining Buffet - #6322Delivered on Monday, April [redacted], 2015 around 6:00pm, I noticed that there were no shelves as I was told. I called ModernEuroDesign immediately, the representative told me that there will be no issue to schedule a pickup without any additional cost to me and they will give me full refund. I called on next morning on [redacted] to request a pickup..... I have spoken to the representatives 4 times during the week including today, I followed their instructions to call at the times I was asked to call, unfortunately, when I called, there were no answers and no one responded to any of my voice messages or emails that I sent to sales and claims.Also, the Dining Buffet arrived without box, it was 90% assembled in the warehouse, I was told that because it was a new piece and need to be put together correctly (4 doors were installed in my apt.).I am not able to reach them, please help me to schedule a pick up as soon as you can.Thank you for your assistance and help,B. We were able to work it out with the customer. We have arranged for a return of the buffet with no fees involved. We picked up the buffet from the customer at no charge on 5/**/15 and the customer has received a full refund for the item.
