This is in response to [redacted] ***n who was in our salon on 10/08/16.Mrs [redacted] was booked in for a cut and color not a permanent that day Her stylist had a lengthy consultation with her and even showed the stylist pictures of the color she wanted that day During this consultation the client also told our stylist that she had a chemical relaxer on her hair which is a hair STRAIGHTER the stylist then told her there is no way to perform a perm on her hair or hair would melt off or be extremely damaged So they did the color and cut and he then curled her hair with a curling iron which is not a permanent curlIt is very obvious when getting a perm because there are actual perm rods in your hair so im not sure why she thought she received a Perm nor was she charged for one. When Mrs [redacted] called the salon back I tried several times to explain to her that she didn't receive a perm and was insistent that she was told she was getting a perm which is untrue When she left the salon she stated she was very happy with her cut and color and even tipped her stylistawhile speaking with Mrs [redacted] I asked her several times if there was a problem with her color and she said NOShe wanted to come back in to get a perm and we said we do not feel comfortable performing this service on her chemically straightened hairIt was very hard speaking with her and there is a definite language barrier.I feel this client was happy with her color service and told her we wouldn't refund her money because we never preformed a perm and was only charged for her hair cut and colorOur stylist did everything by the book and performed exactly what was suppose to be done from the consultation. She was charged plus she left a $tip
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: First of all ,the hair stylist on that day didn't say that my hair will going to be melt with damage if he will going to perform permanent curlWhat the stylist said was I will going to have a same curl with the picture and its very clear that I want a permanent curlSecond, I didnt say that there is no problem with the color because my hair got more damage and dryness. If they explained that cannot have a permanent curl I will have another option with my hairIt is very clear that the hairstylish made a mistake with my hair and I want a refund!
Sincerely,

This is in response to [redacted]n who was in our salon on 10/08/16.Mrs [redacted] was booked in for a cut and color not a permanent that day. Her stylist had a lengthy consultation with her and even showed the stylist pictures of the color she wanted that day. During this consultation the client also told our stylist that she had a chemical relaxer on her hair which is a hair STRAIGHTER the stylist then told her there is no way to perform a perm on her hair or hair would melt off or be extremely damaged. So they did the color and cut and he then curled her hair with a curling iron which is not a permanent curl. It is very obvious when getting a perm because there are actual perm rods in your hair so im not sure why she thought she received a Perm nor was she charged for one. When Mrs [redacted] called the salon back I tried several times to explain to her that she didn't receive a perm and was insistent that she was told she was getting a perm which is untrue. When she left the salon she stated she was very happy with her cut and color and even tipped her stylist. awhile speaking with Mrs [redacted] I asked her several times if there was a problem with her color and she said NO. She wanted to come back in to get a perm and we said we do not feel comfortable performing this service on her chemically straightened hair. It was very hard speaking with her and there is a definite language barrier.I feel this client was happy with her color service and told her we wouldn't refund her money because we never preformed a perm and was only charged for her hair cut and color. Our stylist did everything by the book and performed exactly what was suppose to be done from the consultation. She was charged 217.67 plus she left a $20.00 tip.
