Modern Concepts Auto Body Repair

my insurance company paid for repairs to this shop. The shop took 3 months to repair it and the car is still not completed and can not be driven.I was in an accident in my car at the end of [redacted] I decided to send my car to this auto body shop Modern Concepts to get the repairs done. It was sent there in the beginning or [redacted] The insurance company could not send out appraiser for a few days . Once the appraiser came out and assessed the car. The shop owner [redacted] is who I dealt with and spoke to. The shop was issued a check from my insurance company after they countered with a new appraisal amount and I was under assumption my car was getting repaired. After the first month was done my car was not completed or worked on yet. In [redacted] I was told by the owner he was having issues with putting in my seat belts and airbags. Then the next few weeks I was given the excuse they was waiting on a part. Then I heard the same excuse for an additional weeks. After 2months and no car. I went to the shop to see my car. No one was working on my car the seat belts was not in and the air bags was not in. The front and rear bumpers was not on. I was reassured by an employee of the shop owner my car will be completed in another week that is all the time they needed to finish the job. Now it is [redacted] and I was given multiple more excuses from the shop owner they was waiting on a part. [redacted] I called my insurance company up to inform them the service I was dealing with and what can they do for me. I issued a tow truck to the shop to remove the car and send it somewhere else. The shop owner would not release my car to the tow truck. I received a phone call from the shop owner that my car was completed and I could get it. I got my car and instantly noticed multiple issues that was not repaired. Multiple pieces thrown in the trunk of my car. Engine light on, the gears do not feel like they are in gear. The seat belts do not work in the rear seats and the front grill had multiple cracked pieces in it.Desired SettlementI want the shop to give back the money they received so I can get my car repaired right.Business Response This vehicle came to this shop thru [redacted] for a supplement and they were going to do the repairs. She didn't pay the deductible and I ended up painting the whole vehicle when it wasn't part of the loss. [redacted] is the one responsible for any repairs to this car. She's well aware where she brought her car to and who she spoke to first and it was not me or to my shop!
