Review: My wife and I contracted with [redacted] to redo our kitchen and bedroom. We ordered the kitchen cabinets from Modern Builders Supply. When the cabinets arrived, one of them was of the wrong color. The right one was supposed to be tracked down, but never was. The design was changed by an employee of Modern Builders, a [redacted], but we were never notified of the changes. Consequently, [redacted] lied and told the contractors that we had changed our minds to cover her mistake. When the hardware for the cabinets arrived, it was not what we had ordered. Again, [redacted] lied and told the contractor that we had changed our minds. She also ordered the wrong countertops, which then had to be manufactured locally, so the job could move along. I understand that [redacted] has done this on other occasions to cover her mistakes. I have sent a letter of complaint to Modern Builders Supply and told them I would be making a complaint with your bureau.Desired Settlement: What was supposed to be a semi-pleasant experience has turned into a prolonged nightmare for my wife and myself. This company should be held responsible for it's employees actions. Ordering the wrong items and then telling lies to cover up her own mistakes should not be allowed. We would like reimbursed for her ordering the wrong items and putting this project way behind in it's completion.
