I worked with David C to purchase *** My primary concern was noise level on Houston street and David C stated the developer was a contractor and used the best construction materials to keep the condo quiet. After I signed the contract, I discovered tempered glass was used, which has little sound reduction qualities. Every new construction building in the LES uses laminate windows to reduce interior noise. I considered backing out of the contract due to the noise level in the condo and the incorrect windows installed for noise reductions. As a result, the seller offered a window credit to help cover the $20,000 cost to replace with laminate windows verbally and David C was also present. I also have emails referencing the window credit, which was supposed to happen at closing. David also inaccurately state the closing date which was delayed over 6 months; at closing mentioned he would drop "something" off and never did; also when I considered cancelling the contract David claimed I was getting such a good deal that I could immediately resell for a higher price which makes no sense. If the building was represented accurately, I would have purchased from another developer. Now I have buyers remorse and not happy with quality of unit.
