Inconsistent quotes for your products and services are poor business practice I priced and had your techs hold a pair of rx sunglasses and a pair for wearI made the exam appt and was told the self pay would be about ***I was also given a quote of [redacted] for the RX sunglasses and so expecting the bill to be about [redacted] for exam and eyewear after insurance covered the wear glasses When I came in for the exam I was told the sunglasses would be ***And the exam would be [redacted] and I believe the wear product price went up as well There was a problem with my flex and was unable to pay the day of my examToday I called in to give the new flex card info to cover my bill with you, oddly they had to refigure the entire purchase and was given yet another quote but before the payment was final I got yet another total, now about [redacted] higher than the firstSo between picking out the glasses, coming in for the exam and paying altogether I have been given different

I bought a *** *** for a transmission oil service valid at three locations but the closest to me is the one at *** *** * telephone number ***
I called them just to verify if I needed an appointment even though the voucher didn't specify that
I told them that I had a voucher for a transmission oil changeThey asked me for the model and make of carI answered that it was for a *** *** *** Then they told me that it didn't include this type of car, even though no exceptions are listed in the voucher
According to the voucher I just had to go had the service done and present the voucher
They refused to honor the voucher
I contacted *** and filed a complaint with themThey told me that they were going to contact the merchant and that the merchant was going to contact me later
They never did
I would like to include the mentioned voucher with this complaintI don't see any way to attach it but perhaps I'll have the chance later on

Mariners Watch is a horrible apartment complexIt's a rat trap and it's ghetto and the management is very unprofessional

WARNING!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP!!! They are definitely not transmission expertsWe brought our Ford Expedition to this shop because the transmission needed to be replaced, which took them weeksAfter we took it home, the fuel pump went outInstead of them buying a new fuel pump (like they told me and charged me), they got salvage parts and replace some partsIt took them week to finish that job, which normally takes only days maxWe took the truck home, few days later, it stopped working again, we had to bring it back and they had the truck for a week again! We took it home, days later, it wouldn't start, so they towed it back to the shopIt's stayed there weeks, at first they said it was electrical, then after the second week, they couldn't figure out what's wrong with the truck so we had to pay $to get it towed to our apartmentWhen we got the truck back to apartment, we noticed a lot of things wrong in the truckThe truck has a full tank of gas when it was brought to the shop, now, it's flat EMPTY!
GREASE EVERYWHER!!! All over the seats, dash board, doors, everywhere! Mind you, the interior of the truck is creamMy boyfriend had the truck for years, kept it in good, clean condition, detail carwash every quarter, and they just trash it!!!
The band clamp on the engine is missingThe wirings underneath the dashboard is all pulled out and dismantledThe anti-theft light is on, so now we can't get the car to start because it has to be reprogrammedThe hood of the truck won't even closeThey towed it to the apartment with the hood still poppedOur truck was in a worst condition now compared to before we sent it to the shopTheir customer service is horrible!!! We've been dealing with them almost months, they change the whole crew at least times because the owner is so crooked, nobody would want to work for himIF WE CAN GIVE HIM A NEGATIVE SCORE, WE WOULD!!!

When having our taxes done in 2013 we also dropped off taxes for previous years that we were living overseas and had filed as such. We asked if we should have these years done as residents and [redacted] said that she would look into it after the tax year was done. She said it could go either way; we could get money back, but could end up having to pay. We did not hear back regarding this matter at all until February of 2015, when we were called in for a meeting. She told us that she was advised from somebody else, as she did not know how to handle overseas issues, that we would either get money back or have to pay, but with paying for each tax year to be redone, it would not be worth it. We thanked her and left. That winter/spring we took our taxes in and had them done, then were billed and paid, all over a course of about 2 months. Then in April of 2015, she phoned to say she didn't want me to be surprised when I received a bill for $700. I asked what it was for and she said it was actually more than that but she had reduced it as she felt it was high. It was for dealing with the overseas tax issue.I asked what work had actually been done, as the taxes were not redone for those years, and what services that money was for. She said she'd have to talk with the person at the Vancouver office who actually looked into our file and would get back to us.In July she sent another bill that had a short explanation, but was very vague and unclear. At the bottom it said "Our Fee $690"We have been trying to figure out who to contact and what to do and she called us last week. She asked if we are going to make a payment, otherwise this is going to collections. I told her we are not paying it, and what I'd like is a detailed breakdown of what we are actually being charged for. She told me that she doesn't have to give me anything, it is going to collections, said goodbye, and hung up the phone.Product_Or_Service: Income Tax InformationDesired SettlementI am not sure what this large bill is even for. Had they redone the taxes for the years in question, it wouldn't have amounted to this much. There is no paperwork or any documentation showing what was done for $700.I would like to pay for a meeting, as that is all that we had regarding this matter. Unless I see what was done and what I am paying for, I don't feel this bill is justified. We are also being charged interest monthly while this matter is being sorted out.Business Response [redacted] In the Spring of 2014, [redacted]'s brought in information for MNP to prepare their 2012 and 2013 personal income tax returns. They also brought with them, a plastic filing type box that had information regarding [redacted]'s personal income tax returns that were filed for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. [redacted] had spoken with someone at Revenue Canada who had recommended to her that she have someone look at her personal returns for these years to verify that they were reported correctly and to ensure that her tuition credits were not lost due to her claiming non-residency status while away teaching in China. At that point in time, she told me there was not a rush on looking into those years but wanted to ensure that her returns had been filed correctly. I told her I would not have a chance to look at it right away as it was something that needed to be dealt with by our international tax group and I also mentioned that we were short staffed at that point in time and she was fine with it not being done right away. [redacted] or [redacted] did not call once to ask about the residency issue that we were looking into after their personal returns had been completed. In December of 2014, my manager returned from maternity leave and started corresponding with our international tax group on the years in question for [redacted]. [redacted] from our Winnipeg office was the international tax specialist that dealt with the file. He reviewed the correspondence from Revenue Canada for 2006-2010 and corresponded back and forth with [redacted] regarding questions on the file. [redacted] continues to say that there were only 3 years that we needed to look into. I have explained several times over to her that with the series of events that she supplied me with, that it was actually five years of tax returns that needed to be reviewed. She moved to China in August of 2006, stayed there until July of 2008. Then in moved back to China in August of 2009 and back to Canada in July of 2010. In order to properly assess the situation, each year from 2006-2010 inclusive needed to be reviewed. I have reiterated that several times to her and she is not willing to listen to why it is 5 years instead of three that we needed to review. Other issues that were looked into for [redacted] and [redacted] included the Universal Child Care Benefit and Child Tax Benefit. A specific form needed to be filled out because CRA hadn't automated the application due to [redacted]'s switch from non-resident to resident when she had returned to Canada. So in summary, the following issues were looked into for [redacted] and [redacted]; UCCB, CTB, Tution, Foreign Tax Credits, and Residency status issues. In February of 2015, my manager, [redacted] met with [redacted] and [redacted] to finish up the processing of a form that was required for child tax purposes. I prepared the bill in April of 2015. I actually ended up writing off over $300 of tariff on the file. In May of 2015, [redacted] actually came in and met with myself and [redacted]. He was concerned with the bill and was not aware of what he was actually being billed for. He felt the bill that I had made was too vague and didn't explain what had been done. I told him I would be more than happy to redo the bill for him with a more detailed explanation. I also explained that it was a service that we had provided to him and unfortuneately, there was nothing concrete I could hand over to him so he knew what he was paying for. I did stress that I wanted him to be happy with his experience with MNP so I would do my best to explain in detail what our international tax group had done. I told him that any interest that was accumulating between the date of the first bill and the date of the revised bill would be written off. I corresponded with [redacted] and prepared a full page explanation of the work that had been done for the [redacted]'s. The new bill was prepared and billed out in July of 2015. I had not heard from either [redacted] or [redacted] since then. Not once did either of them call to say that they still were not happy with the explanation nor did they make any sort of attempt to pay any portion of the bill. I called [redacted] at the end of November because I heard that they had applied for a transfer and I wanted to make sure MNP was paid prior to their moving. [redacted]. She said she wanted more of an explanation. I told her I was not providing her with anything more and that I was sending the account to our collections department. I finished our conversation by saying "thank you and have a good day". I then hung up the phone [redacted] the bill was fair and that [redacted] and [redacted] should be held accountable to pay the fee. There has been several hours of additional time from myself, [redacted] and [redacted] regarding resolution of this situation. The [redacted]'s need to understand that what they are paying for is a service. A service is not tangible and we cannot give them something to take home with them in a package. We provided the service that they asked for and now it is their responsibility to pay for that service. [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This letter still does not explain what has been done that would warrant a bill of $700 (this amount is actually more, as the company has said they wrote some of the amount off). While the response states she has said things "several times" we have only spoken twice about this issue. [redacted]. [redacted]I had asked that these tax years be looked into as the person I spoke to at Revenue Canada had mentioned my tuition credits, but also that it may have been beneficial to me to look into filing as a resident instead of a non-resident for those years. [redacted] has not even mentioned this aspect, which leads me to believe she didn't look into this aspect at all. [redacted] I asked for a detailed breakdown of what the large bill was for. She said, "I don't have to give you anything. It's going to collections. Good bye." And then hung up the phone.[redacted]As stated before, we would pay for this service if we knew what we are paying for. She has yet to provide that. In her response it says that she, "explained that it was a service they had provided to us and unfortuneately sic there was nothing concrete she could hand over to us so we knew what we were paying for.[redacted] Final Business Response We have provided ample information in our original response. [redacted] must recognize that we do not sell commodities and as a professional services Firm we charge for time spent on the file while providing services to clients. Details regarding what was done and the time spent on the file has been provided several times. [redacted] To suggest that we are asking her to "hand over money blindly with no evidence of what's been done" suggests that our responses to her concerns including the response to the Revdex.com have not been reviewed.[redacted] however please keep in mind that we also have a collection agency representing us in this matter.[redacted]

MNP is unwilling to provide us with the detailed billing for the last 5 years. We have been asking for approx. 6 months. We switch firms this year and our new accountants asked for some information. MNP was unwilling to provide this until a bill had been paid. We proceeded to ask for detailed billing for this bill and the previous bills regarding this account. MNp provided us with the final year but has to this day not given the other billing. Today, we received a call from their upper management stating that we are not entitled to copies of the billing details for our bills. We have spoken to our attorney regarding this and he has informed us that We are with our rights to ask to see these records.Desired SettlementWe are only asking for detailed billing to be provided to us in a extremely timely fashion comparable to the only one we received for 2014. Also, that they be in the original for and not altered.
