Review: 4/6/2014 I received an email invitation to perform a financial services evaluation for a market research company called [redacted]. The email said I would be paid $280 for less than an hour of work. I was surprised that with the few questions I answered they accepted me. A few days later they sent me a check in the amount of $2280. I was surprised they would pay in advance, and I only expected $280. The check looked real so I deposited it in my bank ATM that night. Since there were some surprising things (how easily I was accepted, getting paid in advance, getting a check for $2000 more than what I expected) I looked up the parent company "www.mnclogistics.com" online. There I found a complaint to a national consumer bureau which said they had been invited, they had received $2280 check, they deposited the check and followed instructions to send the $2000 to someone by western union; the complaint said the check was no good, so they lost $2280.As of now, 4/15/2015, I have notified my bank that the check is probably no good; I have not done anything as far as following instructions from [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] Logistics and "www.mnclogistics.com" to disappear. I'm concerned at this moment that [redacted] might try to require me to pay some price or perform some service for having deposited their check.
