Replacement of wiring that may prevent fire was noted and it was not replaced it was covered up need this corrected.
Date May 14, 2020 The fixture attaching wiring has rusted and needs replacement and that was noted a number of times, it was not available on truck, therefore he put a new fixture screwed in light bulb part of original rusted base and that was it!
Then inside he replaced two light switches that one lead to the lamp. He had the cost of $390.00. I understood all would be replaced and feel paid to much for the job and I also advised and told them that was told I was contacted. My son in law was going to do the same thing at no cost why would I pay him for that I feel I was taken advantage of and feel actually helpless! Why would I call electrician when the matter was being corrected my son in law? Thank you.

Desired Outcome

That the wiring to holding the original bulb holder be replaced with wiring cut and new product replaced to hold the bulb holder. I am sorry if I can't make this any clearer then this where this is and how it is up there can cause a fire and it would take time to even know it was burning until to late! I either want them to take their product out giving a full refund or do the job correctly replacing the rusted wiring and replacing the rusted apparatus of attachment then put light fixture in not crooked as now due to the rusted apparatus. As far as I am concern the matter is resolved! Thank you very much!

On March 25,2020 I experienced a partial issue with power failure in my kitchen. I called Mr. SpaRKY At Above listed address. I already was told by a abuilder contractor that I needed a new circuit break 20 Amp. Possibly a a 12 gauge wire run , possible but questionable. The technicniian Elia Wa;ker arrived. I told him the problem, He advised mew he would have to do a diagnostic test. I asked the price. He avoided the answer, stated he would have to conduct a diagnostic check. I again asked the price and again my question was not answered.

He sp(ent approximately ne hour and gave me not only variable responses as to the problem. The first ones in excess of $1600.00 to run a new wire and install a quad outlet. I td him it was unaffordable. He changed prices and variable situations, again all too high for me and unaffordable. I told him to reconnect the wiring and pit everything back as he found it.

He again told mer I had to pay $170.0 for the diagnostic check. I told him it was too high just for a diagnostic check. Eventually I paid $167.00 by Visa credit card. will place a dispute with my credit card company.

I ad a second electrician on Thursday March 26,2020 through Home Advisor. He told me he wrestles were. connected incorrectly and could have caused an electrical issue inside the wall I believe this was done on purpose. I telephoned/honed the company wanting to speak with a supervisor and he was not available. I would have to wait 48 ours for a return call.
he company practices are highly questionable and highly priced. I cannot find this company on Revdex.com to file directly. I intend filing a complaint ad furthermore the bill as directed to my email. Prior to me being able to print to, it disappeared. I told the receptionist to resend me a copy.

Mr Sparky returned my money and I made a complaint against electrician with the manager. Case is closed. Thank you for your help

Unfortunately, I would not be recommending Mr. Sparky to anyone. After I thought calling this Company to express my dissatisfaction and ask for a refund would change my opinion about them, it only got worse. While the tech who visited me was polite and careful about my home, he decided to spend my time showing me different estimates for jobs that I could do in the future without even asking for my consent on this or taking a look at the actual light switch in the laundry room where the problem occurred. After 30 mins I had to ask him to leave. I called Mr Sparky's management to share my opinion about this and see how they would live up to their 100% Service & Repair Guarantee. On the invoice, they clearly state: If you are not 100% satisfied with the service we have provided, we will refund all of your money". Well, Mr. was arrogant and condescending and despite my efforts to tell him I didn't want to speak about my doctor visits, he continued to repeat himself to make an analogy between his electric company and a doctor visit. For sure, I will never allow anyone from this Company to enter my home again. I will be re-posting this review in different other review sites as well.

They are polite they do the job quickly, also I need some corrections they came immediately and was under the warranty. The boss Mr. Eddie is a responsible person.everything I asked I got it. I high recommend this Company Mister Sparky in Pompano Beach.

Still no permit!!!
Had 10k of work done in my home by this company (in retrospect I believe I was completely taken advantage of - half the work was probably not even needed but being a first time homeowner and no experience with electrical issues I took them at their word that the sky was falling and my house was about to explode, but that's beside the point). The work was done back in November 2018. It's August 2019. I have yet to see ANY permit paperwork or been contacted about an inspection. I have reached out to the point person on my project, Steven, only to be told over and over and over that he and Joselin is working on it. I can't make it my occupation to chase after a company that I ended up doling 10k out to for a rip off job to FINISH the job, so here we are almost a year later. It's hard to argue that they are in breach of contract by not getting the permit and passing *** as promised, it's been almost a year since the work has been done.

Desired Outcome

The permit and inspection and frankly I am considering suing for the almost year of stress from this breach of contract and no doubt shady estimate of work needed so they may want to consider a refund to some extent. Particularly since I still have electrical issues after this "whole house overhaul".

I was charged $298 to install a transformer for a light fixture. My appointment was canceled. The manager would not return my calls.
The electrician charged me $298 on July 12, 2019 to tell me to buy a transformer for the light fixture. He promised to install it whence I get it. I did buy the transformer and I schedule service appointment for July 19 between 12-4 pm. I received a phone call at 12:30 pm on July 19 to cancel my appointment. I explained to the receptionist that I took the time from work for this appointment and I can not reschedule the appointment. I requested to speak with the manager 3 times. The manager did not return my calls.

the branch manager reached out and called the client and went over the concern. due to the facts the client has been refunded the full amount of the job and has been made aware that the accounting department will be refunding the amount back onto the card used.

they blew up my fixture wrong dimmer used. refused to fix it. taking them to court. terrible people and crooks

Mr. was called out to the house to repair a faulty outlet. The disabled homeowner was presented with an $8000.00 quote to repair items that were said to be in neglect. *** said they would perform this work without a permit. The office was notified 3 times the following morning, to hold off and not begin the work. Additional quotes were being obtained. They showed up at the disabled individual's house and began the work anyway. Despite being asked to not begin the work, they did and expected the $8000 in full. When the disabled homeowner indicated he wanted a payment plan, Mr. proceeded to forward his name to an online lending entity who wanted to charge an outrageous interest rate, also not disclosed to the homeowner. Additional steps and expense had to be taken to ensure the work that was done and done properly. Ultimately, a small discount was extended. This was the most unprofessional service call I have ever encountered. The disabled homeowner was left very distressed over the entire situation. These were predatory and aggressive practices that were bestowed upon this disabled homeowner, please proceed with caution if you choose to use this vendor in the future.

I am a single woman who needed a surge protector installed on my house. Mister Sparky tried to take advantage of this, assuming I wouldn't know any better, and used scare tactics to try and sell me something I already had. They blatantly lied to me that I did not have this item installed on my house when in actuality it was indeed there. On top of trying to sell me something I already had, they wanted to charge me three times the price of other electricians for the surge protector. This company behaved unethically and tried to scam me because I'm a woman.
