Miss Black Collegiate USA Scholarship Pageant

Review: The pageant director and founder, refuses to honor her commitment to the runner up and award her prize and money. The rationale she gave is that she does not have the finances and is moving on to the next pageant. No attempt has been made by the director to award the $250 cash or the prize worth $10,000, let alone the reimbursement for hotel expenses that was supposed to be paid when we met the pageant fundraising obligations. Our attempts to expose what appears to be fraud have resulted in the director retaliating in anger and smearing our daughter and our family in an attempt to justify withdrawal of the prize. Only the winner received her award. Financial commitments to the runner up and other contestants have not been fulfilled.Desired Settlement: Refund of pageant fees, reimbursement of hotel which was promised once fund raising obligations were met, $250 cash prize, and prize valued at $10,000.
