Id agree, they just sent me an order I did NOT ask for, or approve, and they BOUNCED My checking account. On the premise, I do not think I will apply to them again. I just wanted to see WHAT they offered, and POW, I get an order I DO NOT want.
Produce was good, but I am reading alot of information about subsequent boxes being bad / squished / rotten / moldy produce - I'm not giving them a 2nd chance.
Packing is a joke, stuf was loose and smashing into other stuff.
Customer service got back after 3 days to basically tell me I was out of luck. Apparently i'm stuck paying for this crap.
It's ok, i'll just keep harrasing them until I get a refund.
For example, I ordered 2 pkgs of Organic Valley (8 oz) sharp cheddar cheese at over $10 and 2 pkgs of Roth (6 oz) sharp cheddar at around $8. Instead, I received 4 pkgs of Roth, with no indication on my account that a substitution had been enacted, and no refund of the difference. Another example is the chicken broth, which I ordered but didn't receive, nor was I refunded any money and no "substitution" was made. These are just two of the many errors that occurred in just these last 2 orders.
I dutifully used the website to indicate the issues I had with the specific items in my order, and have yet to hear any response at all beyond an automated e-mail indicating that my issue was received. I recommend steering clear of this company at this time.
For the third week in a row smelly slimy rotten disgusting food delivered to us five days late. It must’ve been sitting in a warehouse somewhere a week. They have no active customer service and are late on refunds. I heard they just got $82 million To expand their services. However with the customers they already have they can’t be bothered. Stay away!
The content of the box was not even worth the time I spent opening it!
Now, I am trying to unsubscribe and that seems an issue as well!
I made a purchase through a subscription based delivery service of groceries. They missed a delivery and through several attempts over the last few days proved unreachable. I asked for the delivery or a refund and I have not received any response from any representative of the company so I find their methods shady at best. I have already contested the charges through my bank, and I have eliminated the subscription, but I am still currently out of 2 weeks of purchases, with still no delivery.

I ordered a fruit and vegetable subscription box and add-on items from Misfits Market on 5/31. I received it over a week late, and was charged full price. Several of the box items were missing, and several were rotten and unusable. I reached out to their customer service to ask for a refund for the items and to express my concern over the very late order. My ticket was never answered through their system, and was then terminated. I submitted a new ticket, and have still not received a response. I cannot call, as they do not provide a phone number. I need a refund and I cannot get in touch with anyone at Misfits Market, after several attempts to go through their communication channels.
I paid for a big box of fruits and vegetables which was 35 dollars and in addition 30 dollars worth of extra product..Not only was my order a day late ,but I instead got a small box worth only 22.00 and almost none of my extra stuff and my product was smashed upon delivery... After immediately contacting them for a quick resolution,,, no answer. . So I am out so far a bit over 50 dollars and I still have one more order worth about 55.00 that they charged me for before I cancelled that who knows what that will turn up. I have cancelled my subscription after just 3 payments. They have no phone number to contact and tell you to email them with issues and they never return your email and for this you can't get any resolution.
Does not matter whether they deliver on time or late; their fruits and vegetables are 30 % rotten and the rest must be eaten right away. There is no variation to their products; every two weeks I received a dozen cucumbers, over six rotten mango, celery, some rotten lettuce, radish, and turnips. Nothing worthwhile for about $40. It was enough for a bad soup and a salad. Their quality is horrible, their variation worse. They are nothing more than a scam profiting from desperate people during a pandemic.
I signed up for Misfits market but they couldn’t deliver in a reasonable time due to covid. Since I was going on 3 weeks and still no sign of the box I cancelled the subscription.
Then I went to be sure it was cancelled and all of a sudden website shows my box “ shipped” what? And I’m being charged post cancellation.
I’ve written to misfits market about 10x now. They have no phone number. As far as I can tell I can only keep emailing them which I have. I have spent literally hours now trying to cancel Misfits market for weeks.
I have a photo of their website saying I’m canceled. I have an email they sent me yesterday my “ next box is arriving tomorrow!”
I’m not paying I didn’t order it, I’m unable to contact them. Very shady operation. I’m feeling Ive been scammed.
What I want is a refund of $24.50 they charged me for box #1 which was cancelled before they marked it shipped....and then they changed the arrival date 3x which leads me to think they marked it shipped knowing I cancelled but didn’t want to lose the money.
And I’m certainly not paying for supposed box #2 arriving supposedly tomorrow.
No active customer service number. No response to complaints on receiving a delivery 9 days late and ending up with a box of rancid food. All attempts to reach them via email, phone, and Instagram failed.

I placed an order on March 28th and was given a shipment date of 1st April 2nd, then was Notified it would arrive April 12th. It never arrived and when I contacted customer service they told me it was too far along in the order process(the box was still not shipped according to their website) and they refused to cancel it. At this time I cancelled all future orders. When my box arrived it was full of completely rotten and broken items. Way way beyond anything described on their website. Literally a liquified mango, and orange and apple. Not to mention the items that I was sent were not the value of what they advertised...not even close. If you look at the photos of what other people received and I what I received their is a VAST difference! I feel that they intentionally gave me a box of garbage because I complained about the very unreasonable 3 1/2 week shipping time that it took from the time I placed the order. I want my money back and they can have their box of rotten garbage back. It is impossible to reach their customer service depart. When they do respond it is typically I. A standard form reply and they do not allow for dialogue. I received back an email that said this mailbox is not for delivery and your response will not be seen. Horrible fraudulent company!!!
I signed up for delivery service back on April 1st, 2020. After completing my order I was notified it would be a 1-3 week waiting period. It has been 3 weeks, thy have pushed the order back another week (I get it, they are behind) but they are not refunding me the $30.75 I paid on April 1st..I commented on tbeir social media, they basically said it was my fault for not reading their blog before signing up (their blog says they are behind, not their website). Tbey said someone would reach out to me, noone did. I followed their customer service contact processed and emailed them.that I closed the account and please refund me, to which I received a reply that they are behind and I can rwach out for help....
I just want a refund. At this point I have another produce provider and I will not need their service.
I reached out to Misfits about a moldly, heavily rotten box. The remaining produce had a shelf life of 3-5 days when it should have been 2 weeks. I reached out to customer service where I received 1 email back only and the rep essentially sent a bullet point response disagreeing with my initial email. I was told I would receive a 20% refund, even though that wasn’t sufficient (it would only be about $6-$7), but never received it and never received an email response from my follow up email that included photos of mold. I’m going to continue to try and reach out but I would not recommend risking your money with Misfits Market.
Have not received shipment notification nor has the shipment/product been received. Run around customer service, have notified them by email to cancel my subscription & not to make any more charges to my card.
