Please explain why my neighbor, who has a mile unobstructed view of the Watson tower does not get the speed he is paying for? Please explain where the money from customers,as well as tax payer funding is being used in this "customer owned/non-profit business"? Why do theyMVTVnot install more access points to service their customers in "difficult" areas, instead of expecting customers to spend even more money to install their own personal towers? The fact of the matter is they have not done all they can doThey have done all they are willing to doIf their technology cannot support customers then it seems they are over selling what they are capable of delivering I can live with 2-MG, but the 1MG average it runs from about 3PM on is simply pathetic!! In this day and age, these speeds are not acceptable Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 10, 2015/12/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/20) */
This person lives in a very difficult area to service with a Fixed Wireless Connection. They are on the outer edge of distance from 1 of our Access Points being over 10 miles away. We have no contracts and no data limits. All of the service...
packages we offer are on an "UP To" and "Best Effort" offering. Line of sight, weather conditions and distance to an Access Point all can effect on line experience. MVTV has had 23 contacts at this location both on site and over the phone and have not charged for the Service Calls to my knowledge. We are out of options at this location. Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Please explain why my neighbor, who has a 1 mile unobstructed view of the Watson tower does not get the speed he is paying for?
Please explain where the money from 6000 customers,as well as tax payer funding is being used in this "customer owned/non-profit business"?
Why do theyMVTVnot install more access points to service their customers in "difficult" areas, instead of expecting customers to spend even more money to install their own personal towers?
The fact of the matter is they have not done all they can do. They have done all they are willing to do. If their technology cannot support 6000 customers then it seems they are over selling what they are capable of delivering.
I can live with 2-2.5 MG, but the 1MG average it runs from about 3PM on is simply pathetic!! In this day and age, these speeds are not acceptable.
