Review: Minnay Educational Services seems to be playing some sort of game with their customers. I had contact with a rep named [redacted] in regards to their products. They specialize in education product for individuals interested in furthering their skills in the nursing field by studying dvds. I had asked [redacted] if there was a means of payment for the dvd anatomy and physiology set and other dvds programs however, I received a flippant email reading if I couldnt pay the money then I needed to bust up the dvds and pay them out that way. They would be much higher in price, but I was told its a pay as you go process. I decided to take the offer of $499 for the 14dvds. Then the price was raised to $599 within a few days trying to contact Minnay the price exploded to $1755.99. Is this an error or a really bad joke? For the dvds to be raised in price that fast and not contact individuals about the product change. This is inexcusable.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to honor their email price of $499, and contact me in regards to their product when I attempt to order them.
Review: my complaint is I took this pharmacology class online one year ago,I could'nt contact these people for over a year.The contact information online is incorrect and they don't answer when u email them, I need a copy of my transcript sent to me,and I also need a official transcript to be sent to the board of vocational nursing and psychiatric technicians of ca.Desired Settlement: I want them to send me copy of my transcript to me,and to send a copy of I offical transcript to the state

Response:
The board stopped receiving the online offered Pharmacology for credit; we sent an
email to everybody/student a year ago informing all students of the changes and how
soon they needed to act before the deadline. We can send it to the student but we will
not send the transcript to the Board because they officially stated they won't
receive it. The customer called in the afternoon and one of the respresentative picked up the phone and the customer started interviewing him instead of stating exactly what she wanted, then she hanged up. Admin

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response that the business made was untrue, I was not given a notice that there was a deadline, they explained to me that it was a self paced course. I also did not hang up on anyone, however I did call them and asked who did I speak to so that I could have a name for my records regarding this matter. In return, the person that I asked the question, hung up on me. In addition, I made multiple attempts to call them back, but no one answered my calls and eventually my calls were restricted by the business. With that being said, I only need them to send an official transcript to the state and an unofficial transcript to me. I was notified by a representative from the state that they are accepting online pharmacology coursework and I needed to get an official transcript sent to them. Lastly, it is very disappointing that I have been trying to contact them since February 2012 and I have not been able to get anyone on the line. There contact information on their website was incorrect and it definitely makes me skeptical about investing in online services. I hope this issue can be solved.
