Review: Two years ago, Mineola Roofing and Siding, located at [redacted] installed a new roof on my home. Last month, I discovered two leaks-one in my dinette and the other in my bedroom. The leak in the bedroom has already damaged the plaster on the wall and ceiling. I called Mineola Roofing on 9/**. [redacted] returned my call and I explained the details of the leaks to him and pin pointed the locations of them. He told me he would send someone to fix it and they would leave a card. I was to watch those leaks to make certain they were fixed. He told me I did not have to be home. On Sept [redacted], I called again asking when someone would come out to fix the leaks. Saturday, Sept [redacted] I came home and found the card in my door. I watched the leaks as [redacted] instructed (although it didn't rain). On Monday I received a call from [redacted] @ Mineola Roofing telling me he had to see where the leaks were, so I made an appointment with him and on September [redacted] he came into the house to check the leaks. He left telling me someone would come to fix the roof. On Oct. [redacted], no one had come, so I called and asked when I could expect the roof to be repaired. I have not heard back from them nor has anyone come to repair the roof. I am afraid that the leaks will cause more damage.Desired Settlement: I want the roof leaks (2) repaired on my 2 year old roof before it causes any further damage to my plaster walls and ceiling.

[redacted] contacted me and stated she had a leak. [redacted] made an appointment and met her at her home to see where the water was entering the home. We sent the roofer back to her home and he did some inspecting . Roof seems intact, he also caulked in certain areas. [redacted] filed the complaint after the roofing tech was at her house. It has not rained since. I told her to call if she still has the problem.

I am responding to the complaint against Mineola Roofing and Siding.

I was not informed that anyone had been sent and since it had not rained and I was not at home when they came, I had no way of knowing they had been to my home to caulk. At their request, I am waiting for it to rain and will inform them if the leaks are still present.
