Miller's Tree Service

Miller Tree Service was contracted to cut down a dead 30 ft pine tree in December 2018. They actually cut down a live 30 ft pine tree 4 feet from the dead one. They admitted their error and came out and cut down the correct dead tree and commited to planting a new tree in place of the live tree that they cut down in error. We paid them $400 based on good faith that they would follow through and plant the replacement tree. We agreed to this even though there is no way that they could replace the decades old 30 foot pine tree that was the center of our window view! I called numerous times for months with no return call. Finally in August I reached Wendy with Miller Tree Service and she said that she would call me back in one week with a date to plant the new tree. She never called back. I tried several more times to reach them with phone calls and emails. I finally looked up their office address and went to their office which was a home office. Wendy answered the door and said that they would not be able to come out to plant a new tree and committed to sending me a refund check the next week. The next day I received a call from a Michael with Miller Tree Service and he basically threatened me that I should never come to their home. I explained that I have been attempting to call and email for 8 months with no response. He told met that they would not refund the $400 but would come out and plan t a new tree in Sept or Oct. He would not commit to a date and told me not to call them or contact them again. I have now given them the benefit of the doubt again and they have failed to contact me or plant the new tree. I explained to Michael that I went to their listed office address not know that it was a home and that if anyone would have responded to my many phone calls and emails I would have never thought to go to their office. Again, he was very rude and I felt threatened. Again, I gave them the 2 months that they requested to get to our home and plant the tree and I have not heard from them again.
