On September 24th, 2018, @ approximately 8 am, 2 Members of Millennium Van Lines arrived at my apartment in St. Thomas Ontario @ *** Rd. They packed and wrapped all of my items and put them in the back of a *** Rental Truck. I signed an invoice #*** for the amount of 948.75, which included storing my items for 6 weeks free of charge and to be delivered to my new address at or before that time.
I have since paid via E-Transfer a total of 548.75 which includes a $100 initial deposit.
I had ongoing correspondence via email with a Sales person named *** and a Lady named '***' from Accounting -(XXX-XXX-XXXX)which just so happens to be the same number for Sales agent ***. After my last payment of $448.75 on October 10, I received confirmation of receipt from *** via e-mail and an updated invoice stating the remaining balance of $400.
I then tried asking via e-mail on October 13th, what the cost would be for another 2 months of storage, there was no reply, after I asked the 2nd time on October 15th, *** replied with;
"Good morning ***, I apologize for not getting back to you earlier, but I just wanted to let you know I will be able to have a proper response for you before the end of the day today.
We have been going through some re-organization here recently and until all the final arrangements have been made and confirmed it is hard to give out any information at this time.
Again, I will be in contact with you before the end of the day today"
Since this day, I have never ever received any other response or correspondence.
I tried calling the number on their website on October 19; X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX and a woman named *** answered saying; "Good afternoon *** speaking". I asked '***' what company I was calling and she stated *** Moving. I said how can that be if I am calling Millennium Van lines, she said she didn't know and that I wasn't the only person who had called.
Both numbers were answered by ***.
Also, when I visited the website Millenniumvanlines.ca it showed what looked like a 'live' website but when I went to ask for a quote and click submit it went to an Error page.
At the time of my writing this, their website no longer states the phone numbers above, they now display the number for *** & *** above, as well as XXX-XXX-XXXX.
***, stated that their Warehouse where they are storing my stuff is located at Markham & Miller, but due to insurance policy she was unable to disclose the exact location citing NO public access allowed.
I would like my stuff back ASAP! They do not have a delivery address because I didn't know where I would be living but suffice to say, I no longer trust this company, these are very *** dealings, I don't believe this company exists any longer, and if they are finally reached and contacted - I would be willing to pay the remainder $400 that is owed for the return of all my items immediately.
Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I would like all of my stuff delivered immediately to the address on file; ***, Brampton, Ontario
On November 2nd I made the final $400 payment and on November 6th between 7 and 8am all of my belongings were finally returned.
