Roof looks great! Some communication issues with installation crew but got resolved in a timely, respectful manner. Salesman Rich was quite helpful!!

I am writing this only to inform people about this company. First of all, the windows are great so far. I do not have a complaint about the product. However, the presentation was entirely too long. But did contain good information. I was given the dates for installation, 3 days at the end of April 2015. We were told we would be given a call 1 week in advance of the install, which did NOT happen. WE had to call them only to be informed the windows were not ready. When you work for a living and take days off to have this done you EXPECT it to get done. Then our kitchen window was measured incorrectly, the installers did not realize this until AFTER they ripped out the old window which left us with a temporary window for 2 weeks until the correct one was manufactured. They did give us a free garage window for the aggravation. Entire install process took 5 different visits and was very inconvenient for us. It might help if they had experienced people working for them.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2017/02/16) */
There was delay with recieving Mr. [redacted] windows due to the holidays and window manufacturing errors. Millennium Home Design did indeed schedule for a install on January 9th 2017, on that day because of weather and delivary truck from the...

factory being late, we were late showing up to Mr. Browns home that day. When we did arrive, nobody was home which I can understand because I am sure Mr. [redacted] assumed nobody was coming, but I myself attempted several times that day to reach Mr. [redacted] at (XXX)XXX-XXXX. My last attempt was on January 25th, 2017 at 3:45 pm. On that message, I told Mr. [redacted] that I was sincerely sorry for all of the delays but I am confident we will resolve the issue. I also said that I would be willing to negotiate the price for his inconvenience. As of today I still have never received a call from Mr. [redacted]. With that being said I am still willing to talk to him and come to a fair conclusion.

I called January 9 and left a message with the office no one called me back. I have called a few times and left messages no one calls me back. I do not want the windows this should have been done back in December. someone should have keep me updated. I do not trust millennium home design and do not want them in my house. I want my deposit back. I would have been more understanding if someone keep me informed through the process on the delay but it took me reaching out to Revdex.com to get a response.

attic. The work is scheduled for November 28th at 10 am and should be completed at that time. We will follow up on the complaint after the work is completed.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
We are happy to inform you that our complaint has been taken care of. Five guys from Millennium Home Design were here this morning and repaired the excess ventilation in all parts of our roof especially the attics where it was extremely breezy and we were afraid of hornets, driving rain or blowing snow coming in. We are totally grateful for your help. With vents installed on each end of the attics upon construction of our house in 1965 and then the additional ventilation in the ridge made our attics very breezy and open. That procedure probably would be great in a newly constructed home as they now no longer install the vents in the side walls of the home. The guys were great! Thanks!!

Our contractor went to the home on Friday 1-19-18 and finished all repairs to here facia and trim. The extra snow guards were also installed. Miss [redacted] was not home at the time but her mother was. The contractor did a walk around the home with her to verify that all was taken care of to...

their satisfaction.

I love this company. I had them do four windows and then in 2015 I had them do the rest of my house. They were on time, gave me great windows that I love, cleaned up any mess they had and has called me to make sure everything is ok and asked me if I am having any problems which I am not. Thank you Todd,
Nancy S. South Bend, In.

Service Issue:
Millennium Home Design had already completed all service for this customer prior to receiving this complaint....

And at that point customer was satisfied with the service provided.
Price Issue:
In regards to the comparison of prices that the customer has researched, there are many options available for the construction of your windows which varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Another cost built into our windows is the fact that Millennium Home Design offers a lifetime warranty of our windows.
Mold Issue:
As to the issue of mold in the windows, unfortunately once windows are removed from a home they are disposed of. Therefore, we cannot show the customer the mold issue existed.
Sales Issue:
It is not our common practice for 2 sales people to go to a sales call. Millennium Home Design abides by all state laws and allows all customers to cancel their order in the 3 day cancellation time as required by the state.
OFFER:

I spoke with [redacted] and have scheduled [redacted] to go to the home in Decatur on Monday, 2-26-18 at 2:00 pm to adjust the windows and make sure all the locks are working.

As I look through the records we have tried to reach Mrs. [redacted] a number of times and she has repeatedly hung the phone up on my staff. We did, in fact, make a mistake and did not pull the proper building permit on her job. That was a human...

oversight which I apologize for. I'm not real sure why our records have indicated that last service call we made she was happy with everything? But I invite her that, if she is not happy with something, that in spite of refusing to talk to my staff that she can reach me directly on my cell at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you, [redacted] CEO

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
On the behalf to the statement Mr. [redacted] CEO for Millennium Home Design statements were not true. I never disregarded his staff my phone or letters. After reporting Millennium Home Design with the Building Department commissioner office, I discovered that Millennium Home Design had not pull a permit for my home. This company has 15 other homes they never pull permits. There are 46 open permits over the last three years which have not been inspected with the Building Department Commissioner. Millennium license was suspended and fines of [redacted] for my home. Can not believe Mr. [redacted] has a serious problems with his human error issue of overlooking the law for Allen County. My attorney sent a letter to Millennium Home Design in May 26, 2016 where Mr. [redacted] never reply reference the concerns I requested that needed to be corrected. During this process many other discoveries surface reference to poor service and default windows, misleading work performed on my home which is not what I was showcase upon my home presentation. Upon my investigation for this CEO has history with changing their name to scam people by over charging home owners providing poor service with default products. Thank you for your support in this matter. I was able to submit a pdf letter from the Commissioner office to [redacted]@northernindiana.Revdex.com.org email not able to sent the same letter with this response apologize for any inconvenient
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 54, 2017/03/07) */
I am responding to the last request to contact [redacted] who is staff at Millennium Home Design. After speaking with [redacted] who advised me to respond to that 3 request. I contacted [redacted] who advise me that my case is still in process with another department who handles the disputes on matter of this nature. After waiting to hear from [redacted] who advised I have to wait a couple more month to see what is next. The smoke screen of how I receive monies is not true. What needed to correct the problem cause by Millennium Home Design is to pay the [redacted] for their windows which have to come out. This way I can use the company of my choice to correct the problem.
The cost to undo the work and repair any damages from the services Millennium Home Design where their company caused the problem.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2017/05/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I do appreciate the solution to the problem and am happy with so far .

Rich, the salesman, was very polite and kind. Rich made sure that we were taken care even after the paperwork was signed. The workers that put the roof on were not very professional in the job they did as far as cleanup. When Rich checked up on the job that was done and we were not happy, Rich solved the problem as soon as he could. The workers had thrown our gutter shields away and Rich gave me the number for the maintenance crew. Carl was out the same day installing new gutter shields, within hours of the phone call. Carl was very polite and professional. Any concerns we had were dealt with very quickly and very professionally. It's hard to find a company that you can trust, and I trust Millennium Home Design.

I had a salesman call me and then set up an appointment to come to my house and give me a quote. He convinced me to go with his brand of windows even though they were very pricey, however the protection plan is what made me decide to stick with this company. The windows were all installed within one day and the installers were very helpful and friendly however within just a few days is when the nightmare began. I immediately had problems with my sliding glass door lock that they had installed and with the screen in general. I called several times to make An appointment for them to come fix it because like I said previously that was the main reason I bought these windows and it took over two months for them to finally come out and even look at the problem. When the supervisor came out to look at the doorlock he acted like it was such a hassle that he was coming over in the first place, and even though it was an easy fix it is not my problem, they are the ones that installed this improperly. I then waited for a phone call from them about fixing my screen and that took another 2 to 3 weeks before I even heard anything. My sales man Tom stopped taking my phone calls and basically just made a bunch of promises that he did not keep. After finally getting a hold of someone at the corporate office I got my screen taken care of, however the lock on my sliding glass door remains un fixed and most likely will remain in fixed because getting a hold of anybody is like pulling teeth. I have yet to see if these windows are truly worth the ridiculous price tag that is attached to them, however I can tell anybody that is interested in working with this company that it is extremely hard to get a hold of anybody about taking care of this problem. I would not recommend this to anybody.

Spoke to [redacted] on Thursday March 23rd at 1:45pm. We discussed the following resolutions:
1. The living room window problem was re-ordered and scheduled for install on March 28th.
2.We will be over within the week to measure some roof...

panels that were damaged and re-order immediately. We also agreed to schedule those damaged pieces for installation the week of April 3rd.
3. The original installer damaged some siding when installing the roof so I also told Mr. [redacted] I was filing an insurance claim against the installer's insurance company.
Thank you,
[redacted], CEO

We just had a metal roof installed today and were very impressed with the crew who did the work. They arrived at 7 A.M. and were finished by around 4 P.M. They completely cleaned around the house and if wasn't for the new roof we would not know they had been here. The roof looks good and the job very professional. The sales man Rich was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions. Thankyou.
