Millenium Auto Network Reviews (%countItem)

I bought a used car in May of 2017 from Millenium Auto Network dealership. A few weeks after purchase, the lug studs started shearing in half. I originally thought that this started happening because a tire shop had improperly remounted my wheels after doing a tire rotation and so I had them replace the lug studs. However, a year later, my wheel fell off on the freeway while traveling 55 mph due to the same issue. Fortunately, I was not hurt. I replaced the lug studs and then another broke 2 months ago. At this point, I took it to the manager of a tire shop, and he said these wheels that were originally mounted to the car when purchased from the dealership, were not meant for that vehicle and therefore caused the issue. The wheel hub and bolt pattern were not correct for that vehicle. I immediately bought new wheels from a private seller and have not had an issue since then. It has been more than a year since the accident and almost 3 years since I purchased the car. I spent $250 on new wheels and tires from a private seller, the TPMS need to be replaced in these wheels (roughly $400) and there is minor damage to the body of the car due to the wheel falling off. I still have the tires that came with the car. The day the accident happened, I contacted the dealership about what had happened, and they said they would get back to me but never did. Because I am a student and work full time, I don't have much time to deal with this issue but since then I have talked to a representative at the dealership about the issue twice. The first time I contacted them was approximately in October of 2019. They offered to have me pay their cost for new tire pressure monitor sensors and they would cover the rest, but I don't believe that to be fair compensation. The second time I called was Jan. 30th, 2020 and the same person said there was nothing they could do for me stating that it has been too long since the accident and that the car was bought "as is," though on the Buyer's Guide it does not state wrong size wheels as a possible issue.

I'm on my 4th car from Millenium Auto and have had great experiences with all of them; They've gone above and beyond in helping me ensure the cars were as advertised, highly recommend.

Don't let them fool you - I would NOT recommend this dealership to ANYONE. READ THIS!!!!!!

The CARFAX they gave me was for a DIFFERENT CAR! The Carfax they printed for me was for a car of the same make/ model/ year but one that was at a dealership in Vermont with service records and NO record of an accident. I discovered after the fact, that the car I purchased had been in an accident. (Call me naive for trusting these guys in the first place). No, they didn't have any other cars like this at their lot, VIN was way off and I am also sure it is the one they gave me because it is timestamped and has their company name on the top. This also lowers the value of the car.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on within a week of purchasing vehicle. - MAJOR transmission problem. It could be an unfortunate coincidence, but I smell fool play because Subaru said it would come on 1-2 weeks if someone had cleared the error code. They did not bring up any mechanical issues as they discussed their inspection. Rust inside and out, some mechanical issues, aftermarket, most things barely passing inspection, not properly serviced etc. They used being knocking the price closer to fair market value as reason not to fix things. Fooled me.

My story is similar to the other bad reviews I've seen.

I purchased a used 2008 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership less than 30 days ago. The transmission is dead. I waived buying a warranty. I knew I was buying a car as is. Yet I feel the sales team AND mechanic was not honest in the sale of the Jeep. I'm led to believe they know of its preexisting condition and did not disclose the problems. Based on other reviews of people with similar stories, I feel this dealership cons their way into selling some cars they know to be lemons.

Knowing I purchased a used car, I soon took it into a Jeep dealership mechanic to have it serviced. There were several factory recalls that hadn't been performed and, according to the serviceman, it had been serviced in awhile. I assumed as much and was prepared to pay for a good tune up. During this the serviceman also informed me that the transmission was a problem and they recommended I replace it or it might fail on me soon.

Upset, I called Millennium Auto demanding help on the matter. They smooth talked their way saying "dealerships do this all the time," "dealerships are a machine and they have to feed it," "the dealership is conning you." They said to bring it into their mechanic to look at. The mechanic wasn't available when I wanted it looked at, so I was asked to come in the following week and they would "lift if up and take a look to see what's wrong."

I arranged my whole day around this the next week. Seeing that the dealership is a good distance away from where I live, I was prepared to stay there for a few hours while they looked at it. Mind you, they didn't have to. Sure, they could have been complete slimes and said get lost. You bought it. Hit the road. BUT they asked to see it. SO I took it in.

It took them 15 minutes. The mechanic just drove it around. Based off of his expert driving and incredible intuition he, and the dealership, said there was nothing wrong. "Don't let the big dealerships worry you. They just want your money." I kinda felt taken care of, though a little dissatisfied that they hadn't REALLY taken the time to look at it.

Two weeks later on a drive to Bear Lake for the 4th of July, my transmission died!

I had AAA take it to a certified transmission mechanic near where I lived and they confirmed several issues with the engine and yes, the transmission is dead.

I reached out to Millennium Auto and they said to bring it in. WHY would I do that if they didn't do anything when they first acquired the Jeep and then when I did take it to them after the first warning, all their trained mechanic did was drive it around.

Based on my experience and reading others, this kind of thing happens a lot with them.
