I placed a $98.22 online order to *** for an embroidered ribbon rack (ORDER *** Ribbon Rack Patches). The order was placed on November 8, 2019 (based on PayPal and bank records) and payment was made. Now almost 7 months later, I still do not have the product I ordered and paid for.
I have called and left messages and emailed for a status. The phone messages have gone unreturned and the emails, when answered, provided no positive feedback as to the order status, just pushed things further down the road (e.g. "let me check", "almost there", etc.)
I issued a full refund to Mr. as well as my apology. The details es to why Order *** failed was lost just as I was in the process of completing the last sentence. While the documentation provided seemed appropriate I was unfamiliar plus attempts to obtain 3rd party clarification failed. Wayne Shenson
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards
Ordered a product from this company for a custom ribbon patch and didn't hear anything for about 4 months. Tried to email the company with no response. Tried calling the phone # several times, both of them, and I get a busy signal. Tried email again for the next two months with no response. Website offers no additional help to contact the seller at all. So I had to file a claim with my bank and paypal and it finally refunded. Almost 6 months later now to todays date of 9/16/2019 there website is still active and taking orders however I still cant reach anyone to see if there still in business. This almost seems like they are now scamming people out of their money.
I made two attempts to contact *** via the phone number that he entered for the 10, Dec 2018 order #***. The contact phone number, email and residence address also matched the contact information listed within the document you provided. I'm not sure what is expected, please allow me to elaborate. The products that I offer for a fee and purchased 98% of the time are previously "honorably discharged" members of each of the branches of service. To determine if the purchaser meets this first requirement plus several others begins with the receipt of the veterans regulation discharge document(s) usually DOD form DD-214. This requirement appears as numerous statements throughout my website as well as a "Warning" to the customer during checkout. On average approximately 70% comply within a week or two following the completion of the online order payment transaction. Another 20% I have to contact myself to determine if they missed the requirement details, answer questions why the form is necessary plus review several safe methods to see that I receive the document(s). On average the missing 10% are "want to be's" (never served, each "want to be" is in violation of the "Stolen Valor" law by Congress for all 50 states, D.C., PR and territories). Because of the sensitive nature documented throughout the DD-214 only I receive and review every DD-214. Unfortunately within the 90% of the orders issued that I eventually receive their DD214, 55 to 60% I encounter discrepancies between what was ordered and paid for compared to what is listed/authorized within their DD-214. The cost for failure to maintain the accuracy between any order and the related customers DD214, as a veteran myself, is not measured in dollars and cents, but in integrity. This portion of every order is my direct responsibility. The time required to maintain the accuracy varies from 30 minutes to multiple hours spread out over several days. If the DD214 is missing an award or medal it becomes the direct responsibility of the customer / veteran to resole the discrepancy. The process to correct the DD-214 varies depending on what is missing or needs corrected. Following whatever time the staff of the Office of Personnel needs to research the veterans service records varies from a few months to years. After the correction(s) have updated the record(s) a DD-215 is issued and forwarded to the veteran who forwards a copy to me. The longest time that I keep a online order in pending status, per the veterans request, was almost 2 years. NOTE also that since I shipped the first polo shirt to my WWII Navy See-Bee veteran uncle as a gift for his Dec. 12th birthday, now almost 11 later, I have never duplicated any ribbon rack layout more once. *** on December 10, 2018 at 11:03 p.m. issued Order # ***. The product purchased was the Embroidered Ribbon Rack Patch (RRP) for a fee of $59.51. The normal average order to ship interval is 14 to 18 days. "Normal" within my year does not include any holiday that directly or indirectly would be observed throughout the United States or any military base or office in the world staffed by members of the DOD. The "normal" becomes whatever the workload is accordingly. The shipping interval to the "Ship To" address varied depending on the option that Mr. selected during checkout. Unfortunately give the order date within a couple weeks of Christmas plus New Years Day pushed the interval until mid January at the earliest. Along the top of almost every page of my website is a scrolling marque text message that I post various information that the potential customer should be aware of, i.e. workload and/or cut off dates for pre Christmas delivery. The factor that determines the date varies normally no later than December 5th.Any order that is issued after the cutoff date is placed on hold until all of the orders issued prior to the cutoff date has completed all of the above requirements The only exception are DD-214('s) which contain discrepancies that could take months, etc. I can almost guarantee that several of the above factors / circumstances found their way into the path of order ***. The full amount of SSGT *** purchase price for Order *** was returned on 18 Feb 2019. I'll close asking what is expected, I ask brother to brother time to protect what they have earned rather than chase the $ and not care who gets what? There are too many merchants that care less about the "Stolen Valor" law. To many have hidden agendas.
