Your engine (block & heads)were dropped off at my shop on October 4th at which time a $200.00 deposit was given to me. I told you that I would have to check the cylinders for size, one cylinder possibly two needing a repair sleeve. You  didn't drop the pistons & rods off because you...

needed to figure which cap went with which rod.I couldn't  check the piston size to the bore to see if they were reusable. The cylinder heads were disassembled, Pressure tested & checked out. Discussed what to do about repair and you called me & said you found a used engine. We spent about 3 hours inspecting this job. Shop rate is $89.00/hr. I did not keep your engine for 2 months without doing anything. The engine sat here for 1-2 weeks before you came to pick it up. Our phones are answered from 8-5 Mon -Fri. Someone is always  here during business hours. I am sorry that  your engine was not repairable in your budget but we can't work for free.
