I took my [redacted] suv to get a oil change a couple of times at the specific place and was paying a little over thirty dollars each time for a oil change. well on 06-24-2014 my engine light popped on my vehicle so I took it to[redacted] which is a place where they fix on foreign cars and come to find out they told me that my oil hasn't been changed in a while but I have my receipts for everytime I went to get service at Mike's.[redacted] told me that it was old oil on top of new oil and it clogged up the valves so they have to try to flush it. But if not its gone cost me lots of money to get it fix. I want to be reimbursed for my money because this was neglect on the company!Product_Or_Service: oilDesired SettlementI want to be reimbursed since they wasnt doing the work.Business Response This car was brought to me with approximately 165,973 miles on it. I changed the oil on two occasions and noticed each time how dirty the oil was. The problem she is having is from previous service intervals occurring in the first 165,000, not the two times I changed it. With the engine crankcase that filthy it would mix with the new oil I put in and turn it dirty prematurely. I'd like to see the service records for the first 165,000 miles. The second time I changed it, it had 171,367 miles on it. I set the window sticker at 3,000 miles but she went 5,400 miles on that service. If she went almost double the mileage interval on this service it would make you wonder how it was treated in the past.
