replaced a shower pan and installed tiles instead of a new shower pan. The problem is that after three weeks the tiles that he installed on top of the plastic liner did not dry. We called *** and he reassured us that it just needed to dry and to give it a few more days. He suggested keeping a fan on the floor to sped up the drying. After one month, we finally took a shower to only see the tiles bubble up , moving around and all the grout/ material coming up from the tiles during the shower. We immediately called and texted him but he did not respond! We had no other choice but to call another plumber, who told us he would have to rip up the newly installed tiles to see the underneath. The new plumber ripped everything up , checked to drain and made sure there was no leak before we installed the new tiles. I took pictures of this entire process and sent them to *** Telling him that he used a water base adhesive to install the tiles on top of the plastic liner. That is why the tiles kept moving . He never installed cement or thin set to complete the floor. I asked *** to do the right thing and give back some of the money we had paid him to cover the expenses of re-doing the work that we had paid him in full for. He finally agree to give us $400 for the tile work. The only problem is he NEVER showed up with the $400. I called him and sent him messages regarding when he was bringing the money but he has never responded. So in other words, we paid two times for one shower pan not to mention the amount of electricity we used keeping a fan on night and day for three weeks!!
