On 2/6/Mike M*** came to our house and gave us a quote to trim our two, pecan trees In writing, his quote spelled out he would require a $deposit We mailed Mike a check, a few days later, in the sum of $so that we could reserve a spot on his busy schedule Mike cashed that check on 2/and scheduled work to begin on 4/ On 3/I called Mike to let him know, we didn't need his services any longer Mike became agitated when I asked that he mail our $deposit back to us He raised his voice, and his tone became intimidating He told me, "if you tell me the truth, why you are not letting me cut your trees, I MAY consider sending your money back." This phone conversation lasted several minutes with him telling me time and again why he was entitled to our $and when I would try to speak, he raised his voice and talked over me When I had had enough, I told Mike, "this conversation is over" and I hung up Today (3/5) I called Mike, hoping the weekend wou
