Mihm Rental & Sales Co Inc

Review: I worked for a small business who hosted events from July 2012-May 2013. We used Mihm Rentals on Babcock Blvd. for our rental needs, and I often paid for these with my personal check card. I made a job change in mid-May of 2013, leaving the small company. I was shocked to find a charge for plate rentals in early June, nearly one month after I had left the company. Mihm Rentals had held my personal checking account, without my authorization, as the primary business account. I immediately called Mihm, explained the situation in detail, and they promised that my account would be immediately refunded. Three days and several phone calls later, Mihm refunded my personal checking account for the full amount.I was shocked to find again, in mid-August, my personal account was charged for the company's rentals. I plan to go directly to my prior place of work for this refund rather than waiting the three days for Mihm to refund my account. Authorization was never given for Mihm to hold my PERSONAL debit account as the company's business account. Mihm assured me that they only hold the "last 4 digits" of card numbers on file for record keeping purposes. If this were the case, it would have been impossible for my account to be charged on two separate occasions. Furthermore, Mihm allowed current, random, employees of my previous employer, sign for my card, which clearly states my first and last name.Desired Settlement: I require reimbursement for the most current transaction. I will also need verification that my personal debit card information has been REMOVED from their system.
