I have to agree with this evaluation, my 6 Mighty Max 12-volt 9 ah batteries all failed with a year by internally shorting.
I purchased 2 Mighty Max batteries directly from the company's website September of 2019. The batteries worked find for about 2 months in my daughter's powerchair. After 2 months the chair started showing error codes which led me to believe it was anything but the batteries since they were relatively new. I ordered a new controller which was expensive, didn't solve the problem. I rechecked all the connections still chair was malfunctioning. Finally after 3 more months of putting up with all the problems we took it to a powerchair company 40 miles away and they tested the batteries and said they were bad. They didn't have new batteries for my daughter's chair but they put in used ones which they had on hand. I was still in doubt about the batteries being bad however with the used batteries the chair worked perfect.
I looked at the warrantee and from Mighty Max when we got home and found out that they require you to go to a place like AutoZone and verify if they are defective which I did with also going to O'Reilly as well. Both places said the same thing and wrote it done for me as did the power chair repair place. I contacted Mighty Max and they said you need to ship them back to us and we will verify if they are in fact defective. If we determine they are we will replace them. I am 76 years of age and the process of preparing for shipping and the weight of these things was a big deal without any help. I took the box to UPS and was told that shipping was $150. Needless to say I did not ship. I am very disappointed in this company because it is obvious they have created a barrier in the warrantee and customer service which will protect them from actually replacing the batteries. Why would they require the customer to verify the defective batteries from legitimate businesses and then pay for shipping and verify themselves at the customers expense? Needless to say I have lost $229.98 and a lot of effort.

Purchased 2 deep cycle batteries from Ebay. Both went dead in 7 months and will not charge. Only used twice. Warranty is for 1 year. The seller will not respond to emails and Ebay will not help at all. They are still selling batteries on Ebay.

Review: I purchased a battery pack from Mighty Max for an electric scooter. Within a month one of them died. That was resolved satisfactorily with a replacement. Now five months later they all test bad (replacement plus original 4) by independent testing ([redacted]). Mighty Max will not refund purchase price but will provide replacements. However, I want no more of their junk. If they want it back they can pay prepaid shipping at their expense. However, I do not want any more of their products. I want a full cash refund sent overnight air express. This makes a total of 5 batteries they have sent in the last 6 months, all of which have failed and that failure has been independently tested and verified. They have copies of the test reports.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of purchase price. They are selling junk. If they want it back, shipping to be at their expense. Refund immediately. I am not interested in receiving any more of their junk product as replacement.
