Review: I purchased two identical captains beds with mattresses for my 17 year old sons from this merchant. Within a week, the molding came off one bed. Approximately 7 months later, two drawers completely came off and fell apart exposing nails and creating a liability hazard and now the third has come off, obviously rendering the storage space useless, not to mention unsightly. I contacted the company to repair the issue shortly thereafter (end of September) and after several phone calls they finally came to my home to pick up the drawers to repair them. Having contacted the company both via phone twice and in writing, I have yet to receive the repaired drawers, nor have I had any resolution to this issue. The beds were identical, and this one MUST HAVE BEEN DEFECTIVE FROM THE BEGINNING as the other bed slept in by his twin brother (17) has not had ANY issues whatsoever. The beds were approximately $500 each. I requested repair in a timely fashion or at this point (as the third drawer fell off, exposing nails, cutting my son's hand) replacement of this defective product and have not received anything in writing or via telephone. I have photos of the mangled bed and am very upset with the lack of response and indifference to our situation. My son deserves a safe, functional bed to sleep in and Midwood Mattress (Mike) has done nothing to date to even try to resolve this matter. At this point, I am requesting a replacement bed.Desired Settlement: Replacement bed.
