Midwestix refused to refund my ticket purchase after the concert was canceled as they said the promoter had not refunded them as of yet, and ~weeks later I decided it was time to dispute the chargeI called and gave them one last chance to refund me, and was told that if I disputed the charge, they would dispute it backOf course, I called my credit card company and disputed the charge successfully Midwestix then eventually refunded me, but took a $service charge My bank then had to rebill me, and argue that since service was not rendered they could not add a service chargeMy bank was able to make this right I will never purchase another ticket through midwestix, and the amount of time and effort it took to receive a refund was ludicrousThe fact that after all of this back and forth they still attempted retain a service charge sealed my opinion of them Midwestix is an unproffessional and cash-poor business, and you should be aware that they do not have the wherewithall to refund you if a concert is canceled, until the promoter refunds them, and will attempt to take a service fee when they eventually do refund you
Midwestix refused to refund my ticket purchase after the concert was canceled as they said the promoter had not refunded them as of yet, and ~6 weeks later I decided it was time to dispute the charge. I called and gave them one last chance to refund me, and was told that if I disputed the charge, they would dispute it back. Of course, I called my credit card company and disputed the charge successfully.
Midwestix then eventually refunded me, but took a $19 service charge. My bank then had to rebill me, and argue that since service was not rendered they could not add a service charge. My bank was able to make this right.
I will never purchase another ticket through midwestix, and the amount of time and effort it took to receive a refund was ludicrous. The fact that after all of this back and forth they still attempted retain a service charge sealed my opinion of them.
