I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find the resolution is satisfactory to me
In regards to Carpet One answer to my complaint, received on July 8, First off, their photos are totally wrong, I have enclosed photos that are correct. The month delay between them replacing square feet of carpet was due to us trying to get the owner to come out to try and fix the seam, still doesn't look good. All these details and dates were included in my initial complaint filed with Revdex.com. The carpet is not at fault, the center seam is acceptable, but the other seam that carpet one tried to repair for the second attempt make it look worse. In conclusion we will accept a full refund which we would use to have a different company install a new carpet or just do as your salesman recommended after he saw the bad installation, that was cover it up with a different style of carpet of our choice. Look at their invoice that is attached and it states all seams and workmanship will be warranted for years. We told them from the next day it was bad install
Ed S***, one of the principles of Carpet One, has authorized full replacement of the carpet as a one-time accommodation Replacement material is on order and will be installed upon delivery

The carpet seams installed in this location are represented in the photo' attached to this response, and speak for themselves. The seams that are visible only under scrutiny, are tight and completed to current installation standards. Carpet One has addressed and represented their...
complaints to [redacted] Carpet, and was in attendance during the inspection. The [redacted] representative informed them the carpet was not defective, but of commercial type and structure. The complaints being voiced were due to characteristics of carpet of this construction. In consideration of continuing customer service by Carpet One, at their expense, removed and replaced a 480 square foot piece of the newly installed carpet. Two months after this action was completed, we were informed the appearance was not acceptable and they wanted the carpet replaced. It was explained to their management that Carpet One does not accept the implied or offered manufacturing warranties as a warranty of Carpet One. Management"s current statement of "all talk and no action" simply means they do no like the answers. Replacing a carpet without approval and substantiation by the manufacturer of a defect isn't going to happen. All documentation in our files indicate Carpet One's involvement in this circumstance has been with and in the best interests of the complainant. At this point, we consider the matter closed unless [redacted] Carpet approves the claim for replacement.
