I am experiencing blackmold issues for a month now and it is getting worst, I reported this problem since it started and no one in the office can help
I have lived in this condominium for 3 years and the past two years have been *** for my family, last year in apt 104 the apartment flooded and the management company did not fix the problem, they kept me waiting for 2 months without any kind of compensation, I had to live in a house that smelt like feces and clean the flooding myself at least 2 to 3 times a week. they weren't able to fix the problem and they gave me 2 options, to break the lease and leave by the end of that same week, because they could not allow us to live there for liabilities issues or to be transferred to another apartment, increasing my rent about by 70 each month. I did not have time to look for another condominium in the area and I accepted to be transferred to another apartment, same building on the third floor. They gave me a $25.00 gift card to get boxes and move, they did not even paid for my move. now in apartment 311 we have Black mold in the roof, I notified the office since it started appearing one month ago, and they still do not have a solution for me, they are excusing themselves by saying we are getting quotes to get it fixed, but a month has passed, they do not wan to pay the quotes they are getting and my family is again living in a toxic environment. I wish I can call their superiors or the owners and talk to someone that can assist me, I cannot believe the negligence is happening and nothing changes, I told them I was not gonna pay rent until they fix the problem, I cannot live like this, I need a solution.
I want this roof to be fixed and I ant the Mold gone from my apartment, I want compensation for all the months I have being experiencing this issue, now is one month, but knowing this managing company this will take longer
11/14/19 I called a property management to apply for an apartment listed on rent.com. I received a link to a property website, filled in an application there, downloaded all required documents, paid all non-refundble application fees $160 for two applicants, and $600 refundable security deposit (application could not be submitted without paid deposit). All paperwork, downloads and payments were made within 2 hours 11/14/2019, and successfully excepted by the property the next day - 11/15/2019. On November 18th, I was informed that our application was declined. I called a property and asked to make a refund of $600 security deposit. A manager was agreed and promised to make a refund within 72 hours to my checking bank account. No transfers was received. I sent emails and made multiple calls, talked to a manager and account manager. Every time they promised to pay in 72 hrs, after 30 days, after 2,5 weeks. I made the last call today 12/30/2019: the property manager told me that he doesn't know about dates when I can get the refund. In addition, all actions I made remotely from my current location in Brooklyn, NY. I never met persons who I talked to, and never saw an apartment as well.

Wrongful charges
On August 04,2017, I made my rent payment using the online payment system provided by the leasing office. Apparently, there was a glitch with the payment system which resulted a lot of fees I paid by the time I found out since I was out of town for work as a current flight attendant. I went to the office to argue the charges two months ago and they have not done anything about it and still have not return my calls. All proofs included banks statements, email from my banks etc... that the money was available on the account provided for deduction. I ended-up paying $175 in overages.
