Misleading and dishonest
I did my due diligence- had three different companies quite my deck project.
Midtown was the highest!
I thought they would be the best company for a quality product.
Wrong - they were ridiculously late to start the project, I phoned to get out of the contract and was told I would have to buy it out.
So I hung in there.
Wrong choice again.
They quote an entire project, don’t complete what you “spoke of” and then screen shot the project estimate and wordsmith their way out of it.
Not done - then they come out quote to complete the work and I pay them for that.
Job still not completed- same game
I’ll come out and give you an estimate on the under decking.
This time I said NO - you did this to me once I acquiesced to your shenanigans the first time, it’s not happening again.
Then they proceeded to tell me you’re a business owner- I’m going to loose my butt in this job, which I highly doubt.
He continued stating the exact rehearsed conversation he gave me the first time.
I said stop talking - read the text
You did this ti me once it’s not happening again.
Oh I dropped the ball it’s another 9k
I am only human I make mistakes.
I am a business owner of several businesses and if I make an honest human error I fix it - the joys of being in business for yourself.
I will tell everyone I know NEVER CALL MIDTOWN!
Dishonesty doesn’t work for me

I will be contacting the attorney team for review of contracts and texts
Too bad I didn’t have the entire conversation recorded.

Over priced - lights falling off my two month old deck - flashing showing
Wires hanging out oh and I forgot I HAD TO HIRE AN ELECTRICIAN TO complete their job that was supposedly included which cost me another 1000.00
Scandalous
On every level

Complaint: [redacted] At this time we would like to address each item Midtown has falsely represented individuallyFirst, the dishwasher was manufactured in as indicated by the serial number that we e-mailed a picture of to Midtown, so it is physically impossible for it to be years old as indicated by MidtownSecond, in the contract it does state that there was to be electrical work done in the form of adding an outlet at the 'end of the peninsula'The outlets we are having issues with are the GFCI outlets that had to be removed and reinstalled so the tile backsplash could be replacedThird, the outlet for the garbage disposal should have been installed once they updated the kitchen to ensure everything was up to code and not be something a third party had to make us aware of Fourth, we did not 'refuse' Midtown's offer to have them install the dishwasher, we did not have the dishwasher at our home at the time as it could not be installed due to the plumbing issues created by Midtown's employeeBeyond that, by that time we weren't confident that their employees would be able to complete the task up to our satisfaction or code as their plumbers had shown up to run the new drain lines and failed to mention the required outlet for the garbage disposal even though they were working inside that very cabinetAt this time we have grown tired of dealing with this issue and will accept the offer of $and the completion of the rest of the repairs still needed to the cabinetry Sincerely, [redacted]

We were notified by the manufacturer company and they have serviced the doorThey said that the consumers were happy with the outcome and the issue has been fixed

We have been in contact with Mr [redacted] to remedy this situationUnfortunately, we cannot guarantee a product will come undamaged from the manufacturer, which is what happened in the case of Mr***'s replacement partsFor his inconvenience, and in lieu of a hefty discount, we offered Mr [redacted] a $gift card to an establishment of his choosing which he accepted on 10/20/We will not be offering any farther discounts or reimbursements to Mr [redacted] because he told us that the gift card was sufficient for his inconvenience

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I don't have employee names, nor should I have to keep record of the rude employees The marketing team has not honored my request (in person or on the phone)Last night the marketing team knocked on my dor at 8pm I simply want my address removed from the marketing team list Sincerely, [redacted]

Our marketing department honors every request to be removed from a call listHave you requested to speak to a supervisor or do you have the name of the employee that has hung up on you? Each employee is required to identify themself by name when speaking to anyone on the phone

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] ***
