Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: No one has explained to me why the cost for the removal of a "WORKING" washer and dryer were billed at $80. There was no stairs to take it down and the dumpster is about 20 feet from the building. My rental lease did NOT mention a fee of $80 for removal of left behind appliances. The lease only stated that my deposit could be used for repairs and it cited "normal wear and tear". Maybe in the future Midtown Crossing will consider revising their rental agreement to include an appliance removal fee.The management's statement, "...we think all charges were more that far. Keys for this unit were not turned in until the second and we did not bill through that date. We agree the office is closed on Saturday's however, all residents are aware of this and have always made arrangements to fulfill their move out responsibilities timely. As a courtesy, we have made an adjustment to the account for those days. the balance due is now $71.32 and no other adjustments will be made." Is utter nonsense. If anything the management should be available to paying tenets. If you tell me in my lease that my move out date is the 31st than YOU should be available on that date to accept my keys. The tenets should not have to move out early or late to accommodate the office staff, which would cause me to have to pay more money someplace else. My past experiences with apartment complexes was seamless because on move in or out days an office staffer was on call or present in the office at the beginning and end of the month to accommodate those who PAY to live there. In closing, I am stating on the record that Midtown Crossing management is very unprofessional and those in the office are extremely un-knowledgeable when it comes to customer service.I thank the Revdex.com for their involvement.
